I have very fine, wavy hair and have tried hundreds of products to add body and shape. This stuff is absolutely fantastic. My hair is somewhat short, so I use a dime sized dollop, rub together in wet hands and smooth through wet hair, then blow dry. A tube lasts a long time because you don't need much product to get great results. Of all the thickening, extra-body products I've used over the years, this is the best. I highly recommend it!

I have baby fine hair and not a lot of it either. This product makes my hair so much fuller looking that it is almost unbelieveable. You only need the tinest little dab, so it will last you forever. The price is great too. I bought my first tube from my beautician who charged me $20 for 2.5 ounces, which is half of the amount you get here. So the price is a good deal. Make sure you use it when your hair is wet (not even a little dry) and blow dry right away because it gets tacky quickly. Use a very small amount until you get used to working with it and know how much your hair needs. I only need a little more than a drop, but if you have long hair, you may need more. Use most of it on your roots to create the volume and then spread to the rest of your hair. I think this stuff is great and highly recommend it if you have thin, fine hair.

the person that had icky residue...you are supposed to use it wet. if you do that, and blow dry, you get the most amazing texture. after blow drying, if you add a little "hard to get" or "headbanger", you will have perfectly textured, salon quality cutting edge hair! hooray!all of tigi smells so amazing, you will want to huff the bottle! i wont use anything else!

I have medium coarse hair that is thinning, ugh! My stylist used this product and it worked wonders! It's called a paste, but it didn't leave any kind of yucky sticky product feeling. She applied it before drying and my hair looked MUCH thicker. It also added shine AND softness. And as a a bonus it smells awesome! I'd buy this again in a heartbeat!

My biggest complaint to all of the hair stylists I've had in my lifetime is my flat, thin hair. I always wanted it to be big & "sexy". Then finally, my last hair stylist gave me a cut and recommended "cocky". He showed me how to use it - just a dime size applied @ the roots, scruff it up just a little, and style. And voila! My hair had volume that lasts throughout the day. I could put this stuff on in the morning and go out after work, scruff my hair up a little and it will look fantab. I've had friends compliment me on how great my hair looks now. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff. You can use it on wet or dry hair. I like to use it before blowdrying to give it more oomph.

I love this product. I have very thick hair but it falls flat. Cocky helps to fluff my style and keeps it looking great for hours. With Cocky, I gets tons of compliments on my hair. Without it, I don't!

This product does create volume but it is very firm and somewhat sticky and you have to use in small amounts and definiteloy wash out the next day.

at first, i was really exited, because i used it on dry hair, and just put it in, and it was great, and made my hair so lovely and full. it was amazing.

then i saw it.

there was the dried white gooey stuff in my hair. it was discusting

it looked like dandruff--- or bird poo

it was sick, and it was from this product.

if i were you, i would get the product, but use it in wet hair, and just a little bit, and blow dry... but the results arent as good as it is in dry hair.

you dont want that icky residue :( trust me.

its an exellent product, just not if it had those side-affects
