these boots are perfect. they're a great height, lightweight, comfortable, and can be dressed up or down. i was looking at combat boots, Doc Martens, ..the usual, but when i came across these, i found what i was looking for. i appreciate the hand-craftsmanship; they break in incredibly well. they are the first pair of boots i've bought that were actually made to be worn right out of the box. they are cute, while still being badass. i recommend these to anyone (man or woman) who wants a comfortable boot and may want to look like a stylish hobo. thanks, BED! keep up the good work!

Love the styling of these boots- I've actually gotten away with wearing them with some vintage dress pants, particularly houndstooth or flannel (not plaid), so they're very versatile. A great choice for a steampunk look. The pre-stressed look works great with jeans, and is not difficult to match with other pre-stressed accessories such as belts, jackets, or bags. The additional detail of molded screws or staples embedded in the sole (part of the rubber sole) was a rather comedic touch.
The calf of the boot is a little too wide for my taste (fits loosely), but they are very comfortable, light-weight, and wear well. |
