Editorial Reviews

Rep.  Jim McCune, Washington State congressman, in his newsletter:
Behind the Green Mask: U.N. Agenda 21, was written by a woman who was able to put into words her first-hand experiences of her harrowing journey defending property rights. It reads almost like a mystery or thriller. It's hard to put down, because you want to know what happens next.

G. Edward Griffin, author of The Creature From Jekyll Island:
"Behind The Green Mask: UN Agenda 21 covers a tremendous amount of ground in a concise, well-written, and deeply insightful book.  Rosa lays bare the building blocks of tyranny from global to local that are the foundation of the UN's Agenda 21/Sustainable Development."

About the Author

Rosa Koire, ASA, is the executive director of the Post Sustainability Institute. She is a forensic commercial real estate appraiser specializing in eminent domain valuation. Her nearly 30 years of experience analyzing land use and property value enabled her to recognize the planning revolution sweeping the country. While fighting to stop a huge redevelopment project in her city she researched the corporate, political, and financial interests behind it and found UN Agenda 21. Impacting every aspect of our lives, UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development is a corporate manipulation using the Green Mask of environmental concern to forward a globalist plan. Rosa speaks across the nation and is a regular blogger on her website Democrats Against UN Agenda 21 dot com.

More About the Author

Rosa Koire is a retired forensic commercial real estate appraiser specializing in eminent domain valuation. Her twenty-eight year career as a District Branch Chief for the California Department of Transportation (expert witness on land use and value) has culminated in exposing the impacts of Sustainable Development on private property rights and individual liberty.

In 2005 she was elected to a citizens' oversight committee in Santa Rosa, Northern California, to review a proposed 1,300 acre redevelopment project in which 10,000 people live and work. Her research into the documents justifying the plans led her, with her partner Kay Tokerud, to challenge the fraudulent basis for the huge Gateways Redevelopment Project. The City, in an attempt to block Koire from exposing the project, removed the neighborhood in which Koire and Tokerud's properties were located from the redevelopment area.

Koire and Tokerud fought on, however, not wanting to abandon the thousands of business and property owners still in the area. They formed a business and property owners association and a non-profit organization (Concerned Citizens of Santa Rosa Against Redevelopment Law Abuse) and were able to raise nearly $500,000 in donations and pro bono legal work to sue the City of Santa Rosa to stop the project. The court case, Tokerud v. City of Santa Rosa, lost in Superior Court but the court ruled that they could continue, and they appealed to the San Francisco First District Court of Appeals where they lost again in 2009. The three years of litigation fighting eminent domain and the redevelopment project succeeded in delaying the project while the economy collapsed and ultimately killed the project when redevelopment was stopped in Californa.

Over the course of the legal challenge Koire became aware of the source of the planning revolution she had observed over more than 10 years: UN Agenda 21. Through her research she found that much of the funding to implement local UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development land use programs comes through the diversion of property taxes to redevelopment agencies. Her work in providing information and solutions for communities fighting UN Agenda 21 has spread across the nation and the world as more and more people become aware of the increased restrictions on their property rights, and the methods used to implement social engineering. Through her websites and, and her grassroots tactical organization, Santa Rosa Neighborhood Coalition, she, with other community leaders, has enabled activists on many seemingly unconnected issues to come together and fight the source: UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development.

In 2010 the non-profit organization she and her partner founded was expanded in scope and renamed The Post Sustainability Institute.

I cannot begin to tell you how very important this piece of literature is to all of us. It is written in an easy-to-read style informing the citizens of America about what is happening in all our local governments, cities and towns across America. We are losing our God given rights protected by our Constitution and it is being done through stealth and deceit. Our property rights are quickly disappearing. Have you heard the words, Agenda 21? How about Sustainable Development? Or how about Smart Growth or Smart Meters? If you don't know what they really mean, you simply MUST get this book.

Christmas is several copies of this book and wrap them for Christmas gifts, give one to your pastor or rabbi, give them as gifts to all your friends and family, but get them in the hands of everyone you can. This book tells us how to save our rights.

Rosa Koire has done a great service to all of us. If you buy anything this season, BUY THIS BOOK...IT IS THE BEST I'VE READ IN A LONG LONG TIME!

Behind the Green Mask is an excellent handbook for fighting UN Agenda 21. Rosa tells us how to do it with tons of tips from her own experience. The book is comprehensive, dealing with Agenda 21's history, what is happening now, and what we can do about it. It is readable, compelling and I cannot recommend it enough.

What an absolutely accurate summation of what has gone wrong with America! (And what to do about it.) I bought this Kindle edition last week and read it inside of 24 hours. The only other book that I had ever found as riveting was Crichton's Jurassic Park. That's amazing because this book is non-fiction. It is a nice, easy reader.

I was drawn to this book right away after hearing Ms. Koire on the radio. We are having to fight a new proposed city ordinace from the lower depths of Hades here in our small town. This book explains it all and tells you why you will have to fight the same types of ordinances and have to endure the voluntary code compliance snitches that our town now already has put in place just as she has described in her book. It exposes ICLEI & UN Agenda 21 that the US signed onto behind our backs in concise, brilliant fashion. She explains how 2 presidents that many of us voted for used their offices to co-opt the environmental and social justice movements using hidden, interlocking NGO's, and even your county and city politicians. If you haven't been assimilated yet, you will be by your code enforcement police.

So I say, "Well done, Rosa!" This is a superior book which is destined to become a classic work. Do yourself a favour and get it before YOU, TOO, are straight-jacketed and denied normal, sane use of your own property by assinine ordinances that make no sense that have been ramroded down your throat by municipal bullies.

I heard Rosa speak in San Diego in November of this year. Excellent. I knew very little about the UN takeover of the world via the green agenda, but now I know enough to warn people.
I bought 10 books at the seminar and will buy another 10 and keep doing this until my circle of friends are aware and more importantly, take action !

This is a great book if you are interested in the future of this country and your rights as individuals. It clearly shows how Agenda 21 created with the UN will change the entire way Americans will be able to live their lives. This book explains how your little community is going to dictate how you live and work, and it is happening now. A must read!!!

Although the United Nations, largely with the help of an interloper named Maurice Strong, had been discussing the bogus but communistic notion of "sustainable development" since the late 1970s, it wasn't until 1992 and 1993 when Presidents George Herbert Walker Bush and William Clinton, respectively, hoisted this foreign and insidious entity onto the backs of the American people by executive order, particularly President Bill Clinton's biodiversity treaty and his President's Council on Sustainable Development.

Almost twenty years later now, nearly every county across all the States in the United States of America has been infiltrated, particularly on the local level, by the lynx-like activities of the United Nation's Agenda 21-link to a One World Government through the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI), a usurpatious, parasitic organization that floats and slinks between federal and local government control in your city in order to maintain a base of control of its own -- over your lives as well as your money and land. Rosa Koire's book is so refreshingly clear and open and non-mysterious about this Agenda that whatever the complexities, say, alternative radio talk show hosts toss into the listener's mind and ears about this Agenda 21 and about who's behind it -- of course for purposes of magnetizing the audience to whatever broadcast is on the radio station at the moment -- the author cuts out this radio host-middle man and talks directly to the reader with plain facts that any teenager with a rational mind, let alone any adult, can understand.
