This book is so beautiful! Pressing has a great imagination and clearly loves the female form in all it's splendor. It's not often that you come across such a great collection of work but this is certainly one to enjoy. I would highly recommend this book to anyone into pin-up art, women, or great illustrations!

Bill Pressing's work in BELLE du JOUR is impressive and reminiscent of comic book heroines from the late 40s and early 50s. He has danced around such classic female images available on Golden Age comics covers such as PLANET and Alex Schomberg's Xela Covers, but don't mistake his work for a knock-off. These ladies are definetly his own creation and they reflect a very contemporary sophistication. His women are both buxom and beautiful. A must have of any collector of pin-up art.
