AWESOME dress at a great price!, March 22, 2010

In spite of all the books I've read, my first Amazon.com review ever is on this dress! Admittedly, I was a bit dubious because of the low price but I was stocking up on sundresses for a trip & thought, what do I have to lose on a $15 dress? I was pleasantly surprised - this dress is so soft & SO flattering! The empire waist is not TOO high (like some empire waists), then the dress skims down in a universally flattering silhouette. I'm petite & though it's not a mini on me, it doesn't need hemming (which is a rarity). It is a joy to wear, at only $15! This is comparable to dresses I would buy at the Gap or Old Navy for twice as much. It fits me even better than a few designer pieces I ordered & returned at the same time. One thing, some colors don't come across accurately online - the waistband & straps for this dress are a dark navy (they look black here) & there are green rectangles in the design too. I've already ordered a second La Belle dress from this store!
