BELL'O CW343 Audio/Video Furniture for 27 to 55 Inch TVs

First time we bought a media unit online and we are very happy with our choice. The unit is exactly like the picture. It is very stylish (the curve of the woods and misty black glass) and my husband put it together by himself within an hour.

Placed an order for the stand through Amazon on November 25. Delivery was slated for December 2, and thus I had planned to be home that entire day so that I could receive the shipment. However, the package came a day early and I wasn't home to receive it. But rather than redelivering the package, the shipper (OnTrac) just left it at the front of my house, leaving it open for anyone to walk away with it. Of course, with the stand being such a heavy item (80 lbs. according to Amazon), I realize it'd be difficult for anyone to actually take it, but still...I don't like the idea of my packages lying outside on the curb all day like that.

After pushing and lugging the package up my stairs, it was time to take out all the parts and assemble the stand. Just one problem......no instructions were included inside! So I went to Bello's website to find the instructions. To do this: (1) go to their website and in the "Product Number Search" box, type the product number, in this case being "CW343." (2) Click on the item and click on the tab labeled "Product Related Documents." There, you should find a PDF with the assembly instructions.

So now that I had the instructions in hand, I was ready to get started. All the parts (or package of parts) that make up the stand have unique numbers that are supposed to correspond to the instructions. This would ordinarily be very, very helpful towards completing the assembly of the stand.

Unfortunately for me, the part numbers in my package did not match up with the instructions from Bello. So I went through all the parts and tried to match them up by the pictures in the instructions, and after doing that, I realized the problem. It turns out that in the package I had, Bello consolidated two packages of screws [Part #DSYF3 and DSYF4, being (2x) 28mm screws and (2x) 32mm screws, respectively] into a single package (Part #DSYF3) of 4x of one of the aforementioned screws. As a result, almost every single one of my product numbers was off by one number compared to the part numbers in the instructions (e.g., DSYF4 in my box of parts was labeled DSYF5 in the instructions, 5 was labeled 6, 6 labeled 7...and you get the idea). It's possible that I may have received an old package, as the instructions listed on Bello's website were dated November 30, 2011. Still, having such a discrepancy was highly inconvenient.

Once I realized the problem with the parts labeling, I had to adjust every product number in the steps listed in the instructions in order to have them correspond properly to my product numbers. In light of this discrepancy, I felt I had to be even more cautious with assembly. I think I ended up spending three hours over the course of two days assembling the stand, though I felt like it would have taken about an hour if the aforementioned issues were not present.

The actual assembly of the item was relatively straightforward, though I admittedly messed up an early step (twice). However, fixing that error didn't take too long. The glass panes are the heaviest items of the package by far. While it would be helpful to have another person help with assembly, particularly the placement of the glass panes, it really doesn't have to be a two-person job. I handled the assembly by myself without damaging any of the parts, and in the end, the stand came out just fine.

As a completed product, the stand looks absolutely beautiful, and after all the troubles I went through, it was definitely nice to see the completed stand in all its wondrous glory.

In all, I'd give the purchase a 3- or 3.5-star rating. The product itself has been fine, at least for the two weeks that I've had it thus far. At the end of the day, I think it's a lovely stand. Most, if not all, of the other reviews by other Amazon purchasers have been very positive. The knockdown in my overall rating comes from all the issues that I've mentioned above.

Hope this review gives you at least some insight into the possible pre-assembly issues you could face.

The product arrived with the box slightly damaged in shipping, but the contents were well packed with cardboard and styrofoam such that there was no damage to the furniture pieces. The instructions were easy to understand and assembly only took about 50 minutes. The furniture looks very nice and is of high quality construction (solid wood, metal and glass pieces). We are very pleased with the quality and the purchase.

This is a great stand! Bought it to complement my Sanus Natural A/V rack. Needed 'open concept' shelves to accommodate 9" tall Klipsch Reference center speaker since the matching Sanus Natural TV stand did not have enough height spacing between shelves. This stand is really sturdy and very elegant! I actually like it better than the Sanus and it really looks great together with the Sanus rack and my Klipsch Reference speakers in cherry.

Highly recommended!! Saw same stand in box stores for $349, so getting it through Amazon was also a great deal!

This is the best looking TV stand we've ever seen. The wood looks great and it was pretty easy to assemble....

The look of the entertainment stand is fantastic, but the wood on one of the curved wooden frames was damaged. The wood looked like it was impacted on one of the edges and the wood is compressed and a little flaky along a one inch area. Luckily it was on the inner edge facing towards the center of the table. I'm not sure if it's due to the shipping/packaging, or if it was already damaged before the shipping. That is my only complaint.

My concern, like other glass table stands, is if the glass will somehow shatter after a year. It appears that on other types of glass entertainment stands, somehow it shatters...maybe due to the stress in the glass during manufacturing... who knows, just don't want that happening in my house. Otherwise, it's a good product.

When I received the TV Stand, first of all it was very heavy (primarily because of the glass shelves). As I began reading the directions and assembling, I was very impressed by the detail of instructions. Normally, many assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired, (and many times have to re-do some areas) but this didn't. All hardware was individually packed, sealed and numbered so you knew exactly which item to use next. The quality of the stand is exactly as described and is a great looking piece of furniture. My 55" TV fit perfect on the top glass and is at eye level as it should be. I totally recommend the Bell'O products now and will be looking for other items of Bell'O furniture in the future.

This TV stand is beautiful, sturdy and very well designed. you wont be dissapointed in the elegance of this stand. the wood grain sculpture is much more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Assembly is extremely easy and all the parts and hardware are packeaged in seperate clearly marked packets.

Absolutely love this TV stand, and get nothing but compliments on it. On a scale of 100 I would mark down about 4 points for the cable management, since it does take a bit of work to truly manage and hide, and about 7 for assembly since one of my screws took a LOT of work to get locked in.

The storage is ample, holding my PS3, 2 Klipsch speakers, a 12" DVR, and a 12" home network+router setup with plenty of room to be well spaced out and not look cluttered by the movies, games, and accessories also stashed on the shelves. The top level holds my 47" LED perfectly, with roughly 2-3" of room on either side. I absolutely love the height of the TV stand, the quality of all of the pieces, and especially the color scheme.

The biggest downside to this TV stand, in fact, is that I want to design my entire living room around this style now and it is difficult to find mahogany, smoked glass, or blackened chrome in any combination that still matches the modern yet retro design of this TV stand. In this regard, I have emailed Bell'O and requested that they make a matching coffee table, but they have yet to respond :)

I actually use this stand with a 60" Plasma (102 lbs) and it's quite sturdy.
Often times i'm hesitant with flat pack furniture as i'm afraid of the build quality, this unit is
definitely quality.

I did receive a box without the manual or screws, but it was quickly remedied by the seller. I didn't purchase this on Amazon, and now I regret that. I paid 30% more than their listing, but am still satisfied.

I'd buy Bell'O again.
