Fine sequel to Beneath a Rising Moon, January 13, 2005
Savannah Grant is the head ranger on the Bitterroot werewolf reservation. There is a serial killer targeting humans on the reservation, so interspecies law enforcement is called in. Unfortunately, the lead investigator Cade Jones, is a man from her distant past. She was involved in what amounted to a cult of werewolves and half breeds connected to a serial killer very much like the present one. Cade was undercover at the time and a very young Savannah thought that she was in love with him. They are very bitter now, but Cade uses the remaining time on an old moon promise to force Savannah to play by his rules to catch a vicious killer.
While not as good as Beneath a Rising Moon(which would be very difficult), I really enjoyed this trip back to the werewolves' world. There is alot of action and very vivid characters as well as a good mystery, also I really enjoyed finding out all of Savannah's secrets, since she hinted at them so much in the previous book. Great Story!!

Good read., January 21, 2005
Once upon a time, Cade was an undercover agent infiltrating a werewolf cult who had a brief passion with Savannah, one of the women kept by the cult's leader. Now, they must team up again to find out who is trying to avenge the cult leader's death. As they work together, they find that what they once had is still alive, but romance will have to take a backseat to solving the case and surviving it.
*** If you haven't read the prior book, "Beneath A Rising Moon", there is a good chance you're going to be lost, but not hopelessly so. Aside from the paranormal element, this is a basically realistic book about obsession, religion gone wrong, and the butterfly effects of one's actions. ***

Top Notch, April 20, 2010
As always Keri Arthur delivers again. I enjoy her wit, characters, and plots. This book is about twin sisters that are highly talented with not only "psychic" abilities. The book involves family ties, danger, investigation, suspense, and of course romance. The development and progression of the characters allows the reader to become immersed in the scenes and events. The conversations in the books are very real in appearance.
Highly recommend this book and the other Ripple Creek book. All books by Keri Arthur are worth the time.
