VCI Entertainment and Renown Pictures LTD presents "BEST OF BRITISH CLASSICS DOUBLE FEATURE Vol 1: Tomorrow We Live & Inquest" (1939 & 1943) (145 min/B&W) (Fully Restored/Dolby Digitally Remastered) --- Two British films from the '30s and '40s, both dealing with two different genres, War and Court Room Drama --- Check the Editorial Reviews for Product Description on this Amazon page for details.

TOMORROW WE LIVE -- (20 March 1943) (85 min/B&W) -- George King (Director) - John Clements, Godfrey Tearle, Hugh Sinclair, Greta Gynt & Judy Kelley
A real sleeper that has now seen the light of day --- this wartime classic sees a French mayor and his daughter appearing to collaborate with the Germans, while secretly leading the resistance --- Outstanding cast with wonderful direction and full of patriotism. [5 Star Rating]

INQUEST -- (December 1939 (UK) (60 min/B&W) -- Roy Boulting (Director) - Elizabeth Allan, Herbert Lomas, Hay Petrie, Barbara Everest, Olive Sloane & Philip Friend
At the coroners inquest we have a rather touchy coroner and the barrister who is taking the spotlight from him --- Putting us through many hoops we discover who killed the deceased --- Although the story becomes a little muddled and difficult to follow at times, the acting is first rate. [3 Star Rating]

Norwegian Greta Gynt is simply outstanding in this otherwise predictable world war 2 Movie.... But on the Whole as piece of propaganda - very effective:-)
