Started playing the beta today and I must say...holy sh#!. This game is freaking awesome. The perfect mix of mechs, FPS. A blast to play. If you have any questions, I'll try to answer them as accurately as I can...As for PC requirements, nothing said so far..but I'm running Windows 7 64-bit, 24GB of RAM, i7 and GTX780...have graphics at max settings and running smoothly..no frame drops. Sound is amazing.
If any of you are still on the fence about pre-ordering, let me tell ya, you won't be sorry, if you do.

Anne Obrien says:
I actually will counter with it's not really deep in any way and not as revolutionary as people like to think. Is it a bad game? By any means no. Is it earth shattering mind blowing, god no! This is not the second coming of Christ and it's just another shooter. If the enemy team plays together, they will wipe you very quickly (and are probably much better equipped) so as a gamer who chooses to play solo most times; this is not a great game. If you play with friends and can fill the 6 slot team every time, I say go for it but otherwise I would try something else. I for one after playing beta (and being completely stoked for the longest time for this game) will not be buying this game unless 5 more of my friends do. Also, EA is pretty much the worst and will integrate micro-transactions if they can and somehow mess this up as they did BF4.

I've been playing the beta since Friday night, and I can say it's very fluid, intuitive and fun. I've been asked how it seems to play when you get your titan and it's, honestly, seamless. It is not extremely overpowered and fits into the gameplay well. You can destroy titans easily without having your own if you know what you're doing, but you also have the power to greatly impact the match with your own titan if you use it wisely. I must say it is better played with at least 1 or 2 friends as it is very hard to carry a match completely like CoD, but you also shouldn't have to worry about having the lobby filled with your friends as in a full squad like BF to make an impact either. I don't understand what people are looking for to make a revolutionary fps. The genre is set, you can add different dynamics to the game, but nothing will be revolutionary. You cannot even say it isn't deep because it is not a complete product, it's a beta with a capped level of 14 and a few guns with one type of mech. It is the most fun I've had with an fps in a long time and honestly reminds me of the fun I used to have with CoD 4 before it fell apart in the last few years. Def. a pre-order for me!

Andrew says:
On foot combat has an almost familiar feel as Call of Duty series, and the mech combat is reminiscent of Hawken - if any of you have played it. The strafing and shooting felt second nature to me after having played and enjoyed Hawken.

Definitely not "revolutionary", but still a great game nonetheless. I agree with what Phil M. said above about the Titans not being overpowered, but if you know how to use it, it can definitely change things.

How do you get your friends join the same game in the same team?

Daniel says:
#1 rule for foot combat. Wall-ride / moving fast in CQC, being stuck in a hallway you can get blown up unless u can jump from wall to wall backwards to get a way, or to be overaggressive and close the gap on someone. It is also faster to move around the map wall running. Get good at finding paths around the map that allow you to enter and exit combat with 1 or 2 jumps.

As for titan, i have it guard / follow me around. @ lv 49 you can get smart ai for the auto titan(unconfirmed) and that makes my playstyle even more aggressive.

The Beta didn't include all game modes. There may be better play options for those that prefer solo play. We will have to wait and see.
