After reading several peoples reviews I bought T-Tapp workout Basic Plus. I was first a bit skeptical and thought how could I get "in shape" with a 15 minute workout. Well it works!! I'm huffing and puffing after 15 minutes. It is a true workout and after 2 weeks I've lost 1/4-1/2" everywhere. Sure that may not seem like much but it's only been 2 weeks. Can't wait to see my end results after 6 weeks. You should also read 15 minutes to Fabulous too so you can get an understanding on watching your daily diet and what may work best, along with understanding your body. Check your library if you don't want to buy the book, most have it. But it is a great companion with the DVD.

It's easy...relatively speaking. It took me the first week to get through the instructional portion because I couldn't finish it. (I have a lot of back problems that prevent me from doing so much.) Week 2 I was finally able to do the first workout (without instructions) and I love it. My back is stronger. In 30 days I've lost 14 lbs. and more than 16 inches all over.

I have been an athlete all my life. I used to teach dance and have been into lots of outdoor sports such as surfing, running, hiking, and owned a horse for a long time which I rode several times per week, plus the usual gym workouts such as yoga, pilates, cross fit, etc. I dabbled in body building too, but never competed. The point is, I've done lots of different types of exercise and have a lot of experience to compare T Tapp to.

Due to prolonged illness I got completely out of shape and was extremely weak. Once I was ready to exercise again, it was like starting all over from the beginning. After a long hospital stay awhile back, there was a long time where daily tasks such as dong laundry were taxing for me. Working out again and building up from being so weak has been a real challenge. I've been exercising for several months now and when I saw a PBS special about T Tapp I figured I would give it a try.

After the first workout I could feel something. It's hard to describe, but I just felt more pulled up, stronger. During the first workout I felt very warm and it felt great, different than I had felt with any other workout. Within about a week, my posture changed drastically. I felt stronger, more balanced, my shoulders naturally in the position they should be and not slumped and my core felt stronger. This is with the 15 minute workout, not the longer one!!!!

After 2 weeks of doing T Tapp, I took my dog to the beach and without even thinking of it I just started running with him. I was enjoying myself so much just moving freely. I had been trying to run again for months with no success. T Tapp isn't even a running program. There is no impact at all.

I have read a lot of reviews on this product. Some are glowing, some, not so much. It's hard to tell nowadays which reviews are "planted" by the seller, and which are genuine.
I am not a T-Tapp devotee, just someone who tried it after seeing my sister have good results. I have only been doing it for a couple of weeks.
What struck me first is that the discs available are many and overlapping. I wish someone had thought them all through before producing them. It seems haphazard.
The basic workout DVD is a good starting point. The workout has me breathing hard by the end of it and I feel energized afterward. When I am lying in bed in the morning, trying to get myself up to exercise, just as I have pretty much talked myself out of doing it, I slap myself and say, "It's only 15 minutes. C'mon, let's go." The fact that is a quick workout is a good incentive for me.
The moves are challenging to do correctly, and I wish I had a big mirror or someone else there to correct my form. I don't really know if I'm getting it exactly right, but I definitely am getting better at it. It's becoming more fluid as my muscle memory kicks in. My lower back hurt the first couple of days, but that stiffness has gone away.
I did the 55 minute workout once so far, and it was very challenging. A lot of balance moves. I plan to weave this in once or twice a week, but it will take some time, I think, before I feel I can do it well.
According to some reviews, some find the videos amateurish and really mind not having music. I don't feel this way. Whether or not T Tapp works, Teresa Tapp is obviously sincere and enthusiastic, without being annoying. She really believes in what she is doing. That doesn't necessarily mean it's valid, but she is engaging and you get the feeling she wants you to succeed.

At 30 years old, I had already thrown my lower back out twice, had a major neck & head injury that left me with debilitating migraines and neck and shoulder pain. Plus a floating knee-cap so I was dependent upon a knee-brace for any physical activity. I didn't want to be completely dependent upon expensive chiropractic care and massage therapy for the rest of my life.

A friend suggested this workout, saying her sister (who suffered from migraines) experienced good results. I was skeptical, but willing to try anything.

After 4 months, I am thoroughly impressed! I don't do the workout everyday, some weeks I only do the Primary Back Stretch once or twice a week, and it has improved my posture; I haven't had a migraine in 4 months; I haven't noticed the burning/aching pain in my neck and shoulders for 4 months; plus, as a bonus, my left knee has improved dramatically. I wasn't intending to rehabilitate my knee with this workout, but this past weekend, I went hiking without a knee brace and did not experience any knee cap slipping, knee pain, or soreness because of T-Tapp Basic Workout.

The workout is a bit confusing at first. Give it two or three tries with the instructional DVD first, and then go to the regular 15-minute workout. It is an easy 15 minute workout if you allow yourself a few workout sessions to figure it out. I find the Tempo DVD better once I knew the workout, partly because you can choose each segment of the workout in their own separate chapters and partly because it is slower and allows for better stretching with the aerobic workout.
