I recently had an NVIDIA 8800 GT video card kick the bucket on me and was unexpectedly in the market for a new video card.

I was skeptical of the "Low Power Design" and was afraid there would be a performance hit due to this, but in the end the price was right so I pulled the trigger and went for it.

I've only had this for a few days now, but I have given it a pretty good run through and am thus far very happy with how it has been performing.

The games I have used this with thus far include:
World of Warcraft
Team Fortress 2
Borderlands
Torchlight
Unreal Tournament 3

I run these all at max, or very high settings and I am seeing better performance than I was with my old card before it died on me. It certainly isn't the top end of video cards, but for the price I am very happy with the performance and if you don't want to shell out the big bucks for the latest and greatest video card this is an excellent choice.

Love this graphics card...great for playing the Sims 3 on highest settings. I would recomend it as a nice cheap card for simmers.

Great graphic card if you want to replace any stock graphic cards. Visual quality is perfect. It will give you 5.9 ratings if you running vista. Basically perfect for any kind of work...photshop, maya, cinema 4d blah blah...it will take it pretty well. As of gaming i only will say this...get something better. Great card but it is getting old now. Drop another 80 bucks and get yourself some ati 4000 series.

The card wouldn't work, and the tech support was the pits.....for the 3 times I had to call, it took close to an hour for someone to come on the phone, then you get someone that sounded high and he couldn't even find the right manual, someone that was arrogant, and only one sensible tech that i had to hold the line for 40 minutes to talk to...nice guy, but he couldn't help me either. Finally they decided the part was faulty and to send it back. Amazon was great and refunded promptly, but save yourself a headache and buy from a different manufacturer.
