1.0 out of 5 stars Not able to provide rated power, July 6, 2010

This review is from: BFG Tech BFGR550WGSPSU 550-Watt Power Supply (Personal Computers)
This is a re-labeled Huntkey 550W power supply. This PSU has been tested by numerous websites and it seems that they explode when max wattage is drawn. Mine failed when my PC was upgraded to a 470GTX and it started drawing close to 550. I was lucky to get it out of my build before it did too much damage. Pretty sure it messed up one of my DIMM slots too. Get another brand. BFG doesn't manufacture PSU's, they buy crappy ones from China, and put their sticker on it.
