...leather blazers I've owned over the years. I am 6'4" tall, about 230 lbs. and ordered the XLarge/Tall. These blazers have been my 'look' for the past 20 years or so and never seem to go out of style (despite what my wife says! :D). I've owned several different brands, but they could all be made by the same manufacturer with the exception of either 1 or 2 button...
The first thing to remember about buying this jacket, is if it doesn't fit you right when you get it, it never will. Send it back. They run large, so order a size smaller, especially if you're not a tall man. But, yeah, send it back if it doesn't fit and get the next size-you'll be glad you did!

I just ordered this one, so I'm looking forward to it after all the reviews of shorter guys that have bought it and gals that have purchased for boyfriends/fiances/husbands complaining that their mate isn't tall enough to wear it (well).

This is the first that says it's kid's leather, however. It looks just the same as every cow leather blazer I've owned.

One thing to remember for you guys that expected something softer and more supple--it takes time to get your leather the way you want it! It will ONLY wear in through months of actually wearing it! And take good care of it! Water-proof it immediately! It's NOT done at the factory! It will look like exactly what it is until it's worn in... a new leather jacket. It will smell of leather and like I said a couple times, it takes time for you to feel like it's a second skin! I have one I wear DAILY for the last couple years... it's a black leather with a few rips here and there (this leather is also FRAGILE! Don't take out the chainsaw wearing this thing!) and a few holes here and there, but it's like a second skin to me. I still get compliments on it whether I'm out at a club or wearing it to a wedding despite the few little cosmetic problems. They seem to add character, as far as I'm concerned, but I'm buying a new one tonight because my wife thinks I'm starting to look like a homeless guy!

Whatever you do, take care of it and remember to wear it every chance you get to wear it in--like a good pair of boots or shoes! And enjoy it! You're stylin' now and lookin' good!

An excellent, stylish leather blazer with enough inner pockets to be practical when you need it, and soft enough to have your girl crawling over you in no more than her high heels and a sly smile. The leather is a pure black, no brown or red tint, and as stated by BGSD / Luxury Lane, will go with most anything from casual to semi-formal. As with most blazers, 1-button especially, it is meant to compliment a tall lean silhouette, so if you are of that build in Tall XL on up, then this is your jacket. Unfortunately, the company does not make a Large Tall (at least not yet), so I was out of luck. Hopefully someone from BGSD / Luxury Lane will see this review and put word in to produce a run of Large Tall 1-Button Lambskin Black Leather Blazers. 'Til then, I'll hold off looking for a replacement for my current leather jacket. Yeah, it's that good.

I actually purchased the jacket once and thought I could get better and a cheaper price elsewhere. So began my long journey through many web sites and department stores. Return postage cost me for the web purchases and higher counter taxes in the neighboring state led me to a dead end. No jacket and spent money!
The jacket fit me perfectly the first time and the one button was slimming, the leather soft supple, and of a quality that will last for years. There is none better and there is no price better than this jacket. On two occasions many compliments from friends and strangers alike asking where I purchased the jacket. It can be worn indoors and outdoors. It was very nice in a cool dining experience in a nice restaurant. It is dressy; it is casual. It is a great jacket for a great price! Enjoy!

I was skeptical that a lambskin leather blazer could be sold for around $200.00. The jacket looks more like black plastic then black leather and is not soft. It is a very poor grade of leather so much so that my son didn't want it.
I will now find out how easy or difficult it is to make a return; to date I have not made one.

Disappointed

I couldn't have been happier with the quality, fit, and look of this jacket. I am wearing it today, and I have to say that I have been complimented on it every time I have worn it.

The lambskin is soft and supple. My only complaint was that it had a rather strong odor for about a week.

The jacket is beautifully lined, and there are pockets inside for all of your devices.

Wish this one was available in other colors.

I wasn't disappointed based on value for price, but did expect softer leather. Also, the description did not give details about the back. There are no slits in the back which I think gives it more the look of an outdoor jacket than a blazer. I had read the reviews on the product before purchasing and chose to buy it despite the fact that some had said it was best for a taller man and my fiancee is a slender 5' 9". When it arrived the blazer looked HUGE and I was sure we would have to send it back but he liked it okay. However, it really is a better fit for someone taller/bigger.

I am very pleased with the blazer. It is soft and looks to be of good quality. I am a tall slender guy with long arms and I often have a hard time finding shirts or jackets with the arms long enough. The large tall fits great.

This new leather blazer came to me precisely as ordered and shipped in perfect condition. I'm 5'10" 190lb and I bought the large - it fits perfectly. The leather is very nice and I couldn't be more happy with the product or the service I received. Excellent product and service. I will buy a brown one next!

A well cut,well fitting and comfy blazer. However, the tanning process could be improved;as there is quite a strong leather smell.
Good quality for the money. This jacket being a large, tall.
