I bought two sets of these at once. They arrived in good shipping boxes in excellent condition. I can see how other people might have had them break in transit. They are heavy, and the tendency for heavy objects to get rougher treatment by shipping companies can't be ignored.

The blue, green and white TV graphic you see on the picture is not baked onto the dish. It's a sticker that you have to scrub off in hot soapy water. Then the tray looks as it does : all white, shiny enameled on top.

All four of them microwave very good. They do not appear to absorb much if any microwave energy. They have gone through the dishwasher a few times already with no problems. They stack. They don't chip easily.

I would buy more of these.

They still perform as I mentioned. Not one chip on them with regular usage. No stains. We must have nuked these guys hundreds of times by now. They have been through the dishwasher hundereds of times too...no impact. They changed the picture since I bought mine, now they look like they do without the sticker :-) I guess they realized it was not just redundent but a negative.

We ordered 4 of these (two sets) and they are heavy porcelain plates, BUT they barely fit in the microwave, so be aware of that! The plates measure 12 1/4 by 8 1/8 inches, so they're as big as the TURNTABLE in our microwave. Plates are unglazed on the bottom, which helps with gripping the hot food to get it to the table. (Plates BREAK so a good grip is essential!) The LABELS were HELL to get off - we soaked, scrubbed, then resorted to Goo Gone and ran them thru the dishwasher. Why do manufacturers put such sticky labels on stuff? Who knows. The kids love these plates because neither of them can tolerate food touching other food. What can you do? Maybe we should do the "kids are starving somewhere" routine? NOPE, never worked on US! Its a kid thing, get these trays and go with it. Made in China - Microwave - Oven - Freezer safe.

I love these "retro" style trays. They are weighty, porcelain, and clean-up easily! We use them as lap trays every day when we have lunch and sometimes supper. I had used plastic style divided trays and they would not clean up well, always feeling greasy. I was so happy to find these and highly recommend!

I ordered a set of the two dishes...shipped super fast (LOVE Amazon prime!) and unbroken. I don't think that the shipping package has changed from those mentioned before...just think I got lucky. Came two together in a smaller box inside a larger box.

Plusses - VERY sturdy dishes and love all the compartments.

Minuses - 1) huge sticker placed on the large section is very hard to remove
2) the first dish I tried (have not tried the second) is slightly uneven so when I cut my food during the process of eating, the dish rattles. Took care of the problem by putting it on a magazine but bummer to have to do that every time I want to eat on a hard surface.

We bought these for my mother in law to use to be able to eat in front of her tv. She loves them!! They are just the right weight and size, and very easy to clean. Highly recommended!!

I got them elsewhere a few years back, and they arrived intact. I wanted to post a review of the trays themselves.

They're great. I love everything about them other than they're fairly heavy, but they're big, too, and sturdy. I don't have any reason to get more, as there are three of us and I got six of them, but I really do want more!

These may have been nice, but I will never know as they arrived smashed. I got my UPS box and within that box were the two separate boxes containing each of the trays I ordered. Both were rattling and I opened one to see the tray smashed to bits. Since the outer box was not damaged, I have to assume Amazon packed them knowing they were broken. Back they went.

I ordered four of these and they arrived just fine--apparently some folks got theirs in pieces but who cares mine are great! They are oven and microwave safe. Some people had issues with the label but a little vinegar soak for 45 minutes and the label comes right off--you can also use a few sprays of PAM or some other oil.

Love these!

Exactly what I was looking for. Heavy porcelain keeps the food hot or cold.


Stickers were just awful to remove

We always eat in front of the t.v. and these are really handy for that. The real reason I bought them is because Hubby is on long-term low-dose chemo and good nutrition is essential to keep weight on him. I play "fill the slots" at mealtime. Protein and starch in the big slot (i.e. meat loaf and mashed taters). Small slots get a cooked veg, fruit, and a salad or raw veg. We're not much on desserts, but the smaller middle slot would be helpful in portion control for someone who tends to overdo on the sweets. Couldn't be happier with these. They clean up so easily I usually just hand wash because I don't run my dishwasher that often.

Amazon must have noted the negative reviews due to breakage. Mine arrived quickly and EXTREMELY well packed. With all the bubble wrap and pillow thingies I don't see any way they could have broken. Highly recommend.
