I got these bowls for a small floral display & now I use them for my morning cereal. The are so french country looking & microwave safe. Very good bowls :)

I ordered these bowls hoping that they would be at least usable. I was truly surprised and thrilled at the quality. My husband opened them and liked them immediately. I came back online to verify that they were as modestly priced as i thought. I had shopped for about a year and always declined to order because of the price of most white bowls. We mix and match dishes so a basic white bowl is great. We eat a lot of "bowl food" like cereal and soup. While your cereal can be a little bit lost in the bottom, these are the perfect size for soup. There is enough space you don't slop over the side but it is not so large that it overcomes a plate. I can put these bowls on a standard dinner plate and still have room for fruit and crackers on the side. The foot is visually attractive and gives the bowl a very stable platform. The photo here makes them look slightly blue bit the white color is true. It is not an intense white but it does not have that oatmeal/gray color that some white bowls have. We did notice that one of the bowls is a bit "off kilter" in that it is not perfectly symmetrical from foot to bowl but that was more amusing than problematic for us. If you are looking for a all-purpose white bowl, this is a perfect choice.

1 Year Update
We continue to like these bowls. They get used several times a week and have held up extremely well. They are sturdy; no chips or breakage. They have been washed often and have retained their nice sheen to the glaze. I could not be happier .

These bowls are deep enough for popcorn, and ice cream is easily served in them also. I like them alot and they sit atop one another in my cupboard.

I have been holding out on buying the perfect bowl until i saw a set that had potential. I was looking for white and when I noticed these on Amazon, I was drawn to what looked like a blue hue inside. After reading the reviews, one saying they weren't in fact blue at all, I went for it because the price was so great. They are not blue at all; they are a uniform white, although if you are looking for pure white, keep looking as these are slightly off. Still lovely, though; they feel great to hold, make you want to eat out of them, and look nice amongst the rest of my dishes which are mostly (pure) white. Very pleased with the purchase; considering purchasing an additional set...

The bowls arrived on time and in one piece. Very pleased with the quality of the moderately priced bowls.
Hubby even liked them. They have some flair and aren't just plain old boring.
