I bought a set of these, along with a set of the green. They arrived correctly packaged and safe. I bought them to replace some similarly shaped Martha Stewart bowls that were chipping all over. I worried that the BIA bowls would be the same product but re-branded - and luckily that was not the case. I got a great deal on them, so the quality was much better than I expected - a thicker, denser, and brighter ceramic than the chipped Martha Stewart bowls. I bet these will last for years.

The color pink is not as pale as the color pictured; it's more of a Crayola Carnation Pink. The shade of pink of reminds me of an ice cream parlor; which means the gentleman of the house is not fond of these, but he does like the green ones (and I do too). They're correctly sized for a big bowl of cereal or soup. The interior glazing is bright white. As odd as it sounds, my favorite part is the pedestal base - it's very sturdy, correctly shaped for generous stability, and glazed on the bottom.

I forgot to mention this earlier, but they're oven safe! This is great feature when serving pasta or other dishes that can quickly lose heat to their cold bowls. I place them in the toaster oven for a few minutes right before plating.

These bowls are perfect! I ordered the orange and green bowls too. I am hoping to also get the red, blue and white ones as well. I think you can never have too many bowls and the colors are nice especially with it being so gray outside!

I spent quite a bit of time looking over the reviews about various bowls on the Amazon website. I really needed a few more bowls as I had broken quite a few over the last several years and my supply was getting quite low. I like pink as a color but was a little afraid these might be "too" pink (someone had said they were more of a shocking pink color). Actually they remind me of Double Bubble chewing gum in color and are quite nice. I love the fluting on the bowls and the way they stand up on a little bit of a pedestal. They are just the right size for soup or cereal. They tend to keep hot soup warm for quite a while which is also a nice feature. They can be put in the oven and are dishwasher safe. The white inside makes a nice contrast and serves as a good surface from which to eat your food from. If I need another set of bowls, I'll probably order these again but maybe in a nice green or blue color. I think they are a good bargain for the money. If I remember right, I paid about $15 and change for the set of 4. Could not ask for better value.
