5.0 out of 5 stars FINALLY!
Someone has answered my gentle prayers and FINALLY designed a pen that I can use all month long! I use it when I'm swimming, riding a horse, walking on the beach and doing yoga. It's comfortable, leak-proof, non-slip and it makes me feel so feminine and pretty! Since I've begun using these pens, men have found me more attractive and approchable. It has given me soft skin...

1.0 out of 5 stars Missing the batteries
I can't find a switch to turn it on, and it didn't come with batteries. This is not the "for her" product I was expecting. At all.

4.0 out of 5 stars A little tricky, but worth the investment!, September 8, 2012
This review is from: BIC Cristal For Her Ball Pen, 1.0mm, Black, 16ct (MSLP16-Blk) (Office Product)
I purchased a pack of Bic For Her pens and I was concerned there was no warning label on the package. I made the mistake of keeping my For Her pens next to my husband's pens, and pretty soon I noticed they started skipping periods. A short time later, I had more pens!

This could be problematic (or, it could be the last pen purchase I make), especially if you don't keep the caps on the pens during storage. Maybe it's time we start talking abstinence education for our writing utensils, because these caps are rather difficult for my Lady Brain and Lady Hands to manipulate.

3.0 out of 5 stars Does it come in discreet packaging?, April 12, 2013
By
Shanon Smith (mesa, az United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: BIC Cristal For Her Ball Pen, 1.0mm, Black, 16ct (MSLP16-Blk) (Office Product)
Before I buy this product, I have a few questions I hope that some of you can answer for me. First and foremost, can I buy it online? If so, does it come in a discreet packaging that my mail carrier will not recognize as a "feminine aid"? I attempted to purchase it from my local grocer but he refused, saying that an aged spinster such as myself has no place putting on such fine airs, and threatened to put me in my place should I ever ask for such inappropriate goods again.

I have tried to put the devil thought from my mind, however I find late at night that I crave the touch of a lady's pen against my palm, and such a passion rises within me that I fear I may not be able to contain myself much longer. For the nonce I have bid myself patient, trying to be contented with telling my woes to the neighborhood cats instead of confiding them into ink within the pages of a diary.

I am lonely, and becoming desperate. If I could write to my married friends I would ask that they help me find a husband of my own, these pens will be put to good and worthy use I assure you! Already I have begun to imagine the lists of names for the babies I hope a husband will put into me, menus for the meals I hope to cook for Him and His friends. It seems to me in the darkest, coldest hours of the night that a good lady's pen would put solution to my most dire troubles and aid me in my search for ultimate happiness.

I fear that without this product I will never be able to achieve my ultimate purpose as a woman, never become a wife and mother. In my nightmares I am one of those callous, unhappy women who strive for a career and boldly write with a MAN's pen as if it were her place to wear pants and do such scandalous things.

I suspect that my very soul might be in peril if I do not flout this one small convention and take myself into hand with a lady's pen. Please, if someone could but spare a moment for my questions, or beg permission of her husband to send me even just one of these lovely pastel treasures, I would be eternally grateful!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pens Envy: A Pyschologist Recommends, August 29, 2012
This review is from: BIC Cristal For Her Ball Pen, 1.0mm, Black, 16ct (MSLP16-Blk) (Office Product)
As a trained psychologist, I know there comes a time in every woman's life where she looks over at the man next to her and realizes she doesn't have his pens. This psychotextual trauma is unfortunately uncurable. That is, until now! Ladies, Freud was a Fraud! There IS hope, a cure for Pens Envy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty!!, April 13, 2013

LT (Matlock, WA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: BIC Cristal For Her Ball Pen, 1.0mm, Black, 16ct (MSLP16-Blk) (Office Product)
While I was writing the grocery list a few weeks ago, my pen ran out of ink. My husband allowed me to go online for 10 minutes so I could order more. He doesn't like me to leave the house but that's okay because I love Amazon!! I saw the BIC Crystal For Her pens and thought they were about the prettiest things ever! I added them to my shopping cart of aprons, and white undershirts.

Right from the first, I knew they were something special. No more bulky, unwieldy man pens for me. When my husband lets me have paper, I don't struggle to keep the pen upright anymore! Such a relief for my delicate and fragile little lady hands. Each time he takes the pens away, I just can't wait to write with them again.

Oops, gotta go, my 10 minutes is almost up and I've got dinn

4.0 out of 5 stars No More Heavy Lifting!, August 29, 2012
This review is from: BIC Cristal For Her Ball Pen, 1.0mm, Black, 16ct (MSLP16-Blk) (Office Product)
These fabulous pens are lightweight enough that I don't have to worry about my forearm bulking up when I use them to underline the hottest scenes in 50 Shades of Grey. I also love that the pastel colors perfectly complement my womanhood, black was too severe, blue too intense, and red, well, that was for my PMS days only. Now these help me communicate in a way suitable to women, softly, and without any worry of being taken too seriously. Thank you, BIC!

1.0 out of 5 stars Being a dude just got suckier, August 28, 2012
This review is from: BIC Cristal For Her Ball Pen, 1.0mm, Black, 16ct (MSLP16-Blk) (Office Product)
What do men have left? Today's women are voting, getting paid to do work, and now WRITING?!? At the bar the other day, my wife asked for a beer instead a wine cooler. My buddy heard that there are female golfers in many parts of the country, and most clubs let them play on the same course as the men. At an intersection the other day, I saw a woman in the driver's seat, and not because she was sitting on a male driver's lap. As if men hadn't been stripped of everything good already, BIC steps in and piles on by encouraging women to learn to write, just like their male counterparts. WTF, BIC?

Guys have so little as it is. Sure, we can stand while we urinate, but standing is a lot of work, and it's rarely as fun as it sounds. And Just For Men hair dye is marketed as a product strictly for guys, but my cousin used it on a female dog once, and it colored her hair just fine.

In a world of girl-only bras and tampons, guys are left with nothing of our own. Thanks for nothing, BIC.

2.0 out of 5 stars I was so embarrassed!, April 12, 2013
This review is from: BIC Cristal For Her Ball Pen, 1.0mm, Black, 16ct (MSLP16-Blk) (Office Product)
I bought these pens for my daughter, but when I went to write a check for Nick's Plumbing, I couldn't find one of my man pens so grabbed one of hers. Imagine my embarrassment and chagrin when I found myself dotting the "i" with a little smiley face and used a little heart for the apostrophe! Nick could barely stop laughing. I had to stop and quickly dig around for a manly black pen before I could fill out the amount. I know they were advertised for "Her", but I never would have guessed these were strictly not to be used by "Him". Guys, be careful if these are around your house!

2.0 out of 5 stars NOT for the mature woman!, January 26, 2013
This review is from: BIC Cristal For Her Ball Pen, 1.0mm, Black, 16ct (MSLP16-Blk) (Office Product)
Being female I was naturally attracted to "BIC for her" (who can resist those pastels?!). Yet, these pens were somewhat of a disappointment. As a more mature woman, I am currently experiencing the symptoms of menopause. I can be in a perfectly good mood while writing a letter and without warning, in mid sentence, I will become so angry that I find myself using such excessive pressure on my pen that it shatters! Then there are the hot flashes, my hands became so sweaty that I could not keep a hold of that slim design, plus the ink smeared! Perhaps in your next endeavors, a "Female BIC for the mature" with a non-slip, steel reinforced grip, waterproof ink and a built in fan could find it's way onto the market!

5.0 out of 5 stars Help me, August 29, 2012
This review is from: BIC Cristal For Her Ball Pen, 1.0mm, Black, 16ct (MSLP16-Blk) (Office Product)
I bought these pens, hoping to use them to vote. As soon as I picked one up I felt the overwhelming need to make my husband a sandwich. I do not have a husband. Bic, you helped me discover my real purpose in life. Please find me a husband.

This pen has the powers of Paula Deen and Martha Stewart all in one. This morning, I woke up to find myself furiously crafting with heavily buttered peas. Some call it food, others call it art. I can't quite decide if this is art or food because I just can't seem to make up my mind or have an opinion after using this pen. I've started inexplicably making a curtsey when I enter and leave a room. Thank you Bic, I owe you a life full of servitude.
