Yes, yes, I know that the word "men" is clearly included in the description of this product - No matter, all's fair!

Rather than "borrow" my husband's razors, which need I say does not make him happy, thought I'd give these a go. And, they're as advertised. Flexible blades do allow for cleaner, smoother shaves, and I very much like the textured grip for use in the shower.

This pack of three will last me through many a moon. Hey, BIC, add "women" to your description and you've got a winner.

Having generally used Bic Advanced razors, I was not certain what to expect from the Bic Flex4 razors. However, the blades were certainly flexible, and I discovered that I cut myself far less frequently using the Flex4 than I did using Bic Advanced.

The razors, themselves, are very similar to the Flex 4. With the exception of the razor part of the razor, one could not tell them apart.

However, there are four blades on the Flex4 and only three in the Bic Advanced. Additionally, while the three blades in the Bic Advanced are very close together and can become stuck, the four blades in the Flex4 allow for easier cleaning after the shave (i.e less hair stuck between blades).

The blade, itself, cut facial hair quite well (about as well as the Bic Advanced) but with less possibility for accidentally cutting oneself.

The only drawback was that it was more difficult to shave tight places like my mustache because the size is larger than the Bic Advanced. However, I did not find this drawback too limiting to continue using the razor or recommending it to others.

BIC makes many different razors, from its useless budget- priced single blade variety to the fancier, more sophisticated styles. This, the BIC Flex 4 Disposable Razor, is a good shaving device with four blades to remove hair with as few strokes as possible.

This disposable razor offers flexible blades and they cut effectively. There is no need to stroke multiple times over the same area. Facial hair is cut to skin- level, and your skin feels smooth. There is no flexibility with the head of the razor. It pivots up and down, but that is it. The only flexibility you get is with the blades, but this is sufficient to help with the shaving process. The blades bend slightly to fit the contours of your face, leading to a better shave.

One issue I have with this disposable razor is its lubricating strip. This strip contains aloe and vitamin E and it is supposed to help aid in the shaving process by making the experience more comfortable. However, you can barely tell the strip is even there. With other disposable razors that include a lubricating strip, you can easily feel the difference the strip makes because it will leave a slick feeling behind, like a thin coating of lotion. I don't get this feeling with the BIC Flex 4 Disposable Razor. The razor still cuts effectively, but I cannot understand why the lubricating strip doesn't make a more noticeable difference.

This BIC disposable razor isn't cheap, but it is a very good disposable razor that offers a close shave with four flexible blades that adjust to the contours of your face for the best shave possible. I'm not impressed with the lubricating strip, but this small flaw takes very little away from the shaving experience and the razor still performs very well.

All three of us enjoyed the shave from this BIC. As a woman, I figure my legs count too. Smooth with one pass. I think they are intended for men's faces/throat - based on the handle curled down. But lady's legs (or a man's) can appreciate their smooth move.

3 blades, 4 blades - every time we turn around another blade is being added and then we are all told what an improvement this is. That might be true, all I can say is that I got a great shave only having to swipe over my legs once and it was wonderful to have a close under arm shave without damage or a funky rash because the skin had an allergic reaction to all that awful goo that women's razors have that also gunk up and clog the blades.

None of the goo and a very smooth shave minus bumps and cuts. It might be for a man but it suits this Gal right down to the ground.

It took me awhile to figure out how to remove the blade guard -- rather than pulling up like my Schick razors, it slides to the side to remove it. After putting on my glasses, I was able to see this quite easily. It works well on removing all the hair on my legs and my underarms, with nary a cut or nick. I can't tell how well it removes facial hair, but as soon as my husband tries one, I'll report on that as well.

Well, they might be "for men," but this woman used this for underarm and leg shaving this morning and, having wondered what I could possibly say in review about a shaver, I can report that these are terrific! The shave easily rivals (maybe even surpasses?) my usual Venus. This shaver really glides across the skin and you don't feel the blades at all. The resulting shave was nick-less and super-smooth. If my husband's really nice to me, I might share these. Or not!

My husband had mixed reactions to the Bic Flex4 disposable Shavers. The biggest complaint was that the head was too large and it did not give a really close shave. He wears a mustache and goatee and since the head of the razor has a little less than 1/8 of an inch of plastic on each side, it made it difficult to determine actually wear the blades were shaving. One positive feature he liked was the aloe strip, which made it easier for the blades to glide across his face. The pivoting head is not as flexible as his Schick Quattro, which he hails, is the best razor he has ever used. He stated the grip handle was easy to hold and has a comfortable feel to it. He also mentioned that the razor was quite bulky for a disposable and it would take up more room in a travel toiletry bag than the average disposable razor.

Overall a good razor for someone who shaves all their facial hair off but if you prefer sporting a mustache and/or goatee there are better options out there.

I'm always on the lookout for new and improved disposable razors, especially if they're at bargain prices. Gillette Fusion Manual Replacement Cartridges (8 Cartridges) have been working for me for several years now, but I must admit they're expensive. In comparison to those, these BIC Flex4's aren't bad for the price.. but feel a little scary while shaving.

I'm a hairy guy and have to shave the beard every day, and electric razors just never get it all. When I tried these shavers I managed to not cut myself, but it was a delicate procedure. With Gillette's blades I can usually knock out the neck hairs and anything else pretty quickly without having to worry about cutting my face open. With the BICs I had to slow things down and be very gentle and careful, and even then I came very close to slashing my face up.

In addition to the beard I shave EVERYWHERE else, including the sensitive areas. Again with the comparison to Gillette, this is not usually a problem and it wasn't necessarily a problem for the BIC too, but again, if you can be more patient with your razor it might be worth the few bucks you'd save getting them. I felt Very nervous while manscaping with the BIC, though.

Overall, these aren't bad for cheaper disposable shavers, BUT they aren't THAT much cheaper, and if you just buy replacement heads for your Gillette fusion it's actually about the same price. Good, but not the best.. and razor burn suffers know, you want the best.

I just tried using this product, works perfect around parts of beard I don't shave, perfect for sensitive skin.
I can remember when all we had was single blades. This blade gives a good shave, with good shaving cream !
