I got this leash for my first paddle board. It was slightly more expensive than some other leashes, but I got it because I also got a BIC paddle board, and I just thought it would be nice to have matching components.

The leash was really easy to connect to the board. The cable is coiled, so while you are paddling it won't just be dragging behind you.

However, what I found to be the best aspect of the leash is how comfortable it is. I wore it around the house for a while and after a few minutes I didn't even know it was there. The part that goes around your ankle is easily adjustable, and even with it snug it's still very comfy.

Overall, I think it's a pretty nice product.

BIC is the standard for quality and function. This leash works very well and is comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

This leash was a little bit more than other leashes on amazon but bought it anyways. It appears to be made of excellent quality and love the coil feature. Very comfortable as well

A coiled leash is the only way to go unless you are going to mainly surf your SUP. It is still OK for surfing though. It stays out of the water reducing the drag, it does not collect stuff (algae, garbage, etc.), and usually it stays away from the fins unless you fall in to the water and it gets stuck. It also stretches enough to walk all the way to the front of the board. It is comfortable to wear and easy to put on and off. When I am done for the day I simply attach the ankle band to the handle on my board and carry the board with the leash still attached. Great!
