Fits narrow posts such as handlebars or cross bars at the back, but not the main frame posts. That's why the other screw mounts are used.

The laws in my state say that I need reflectors in order to ride my bike even though I have no intentions of riding at night. These fit, mounted easily, look good, and came with all the tools and hardware needed for mounting. And yes, they reflect light.
