I eagerly awaited for this release knowing that Hemera Tech's Photo-Objects were of very high quality. And since this product contains not just photo-objects but also high quality photos, raster images, web graphics, and photofont maker, i decided it is a must.
But it is not all that good. it has its hits and misses. The photos are good and of high quality but the web graphics and the raster images are a dud. What was disappointing was that the photo-objects all came from previous editions of Hemera's photo objects. So it's no use if you already have any of those photo-object editions.
I think they could have come up with a more decent product.

I've purchased one other clip art package before this one, and without question this one beats the old one hands down. Sure, there are a lot of disks, but that's because there are a lot of images. The application used to locate images by type, category and keyword makes it easy to locate the image you're looking for. Switching cds isn't that much of a hassle, because you can see a thumbnail of the image before you decide whether it's the right one and have to reach for the cd. (I bought a cd wallet,and just keep it on my desk or tote it to and from work with me.) The function I've used most is the export function, which allows you to export images according to how you want to use them. Even the vector files, in WMF format, that I tried unsucessfully to import into other progams with my old clipart collection, were easily exported to a usuable format by BBOA's appliation.

I'm an amature/hobbyist designer at home, and a web editor and designer by profession, and thus far this is the best quality, most affordable clip art collection I've come across.

At first, I was a little bothered by the fact that there are no fewer than twenty CDs for this application. But I did like another reviewer and bought a CD wallet just for these CDs, so it's a little more convenient (and portable) now. There are lots and lots of images, which is good, and the fact that the images/objects can be resized (while keeping their clarity and not becoming pixellated!!!!) before export/use is a TREMENDOUS plus. I do webdesign and graphic art as a hobby, and this collection beats many others out there. One of the best things is that the collection includes plenty of ethnic clip art, though most of it is in the vector format (and thereby is a bit cartoonish/less professional). As a black person, I'm just like a lot of the white designers out there; my clients and myself want images and graphics that look like US. This set loses one star for being so cumbersome, but it's the best multi-ethnic archive of clip-art that I've ever seen, so it is definately worth purchasing! Thank you, Hemera.

I love clip art. I'm not a professional anything, I just fiddle with graphics for my own personal use. I've had a few different packages, some were downright hostile to amateurs. A Corel package had beautiful clip art but I ended by hating the rest of it, and I'm fairly sure its feelings were mutual. Microsoft clip art is homely and gormless. This package is quite delightful for someone like me, who just wants lots of pictures. I use MS Publisher and putting the art in is just a matter of copy and paste. Obviously with 350,000 images, there is a great deal of everything. Thumbnails (squinty small) are installed on your computer, so poking through them is easy enough. Choosing between graphics requires switching CD's, which is somewhat inconvenient, and so far I haven't found any logic to what's where, but it's straight-forward enough in any case. So far the quality, although not always stellar, seems fine for the most part.

I am a big graphics person and I have several graphics packages that I am not satisfied with. But when I purchased this I was really impressed with the graphics and the other features as well. I even recommended this software to a friend of mine who is also into graphics pacakages like myself. If I would have found this software before, I would not have wasted the money I spent on the other packages I have. Thanks again. A very satisfied customer.

There are, admittedly, many images. There are a bunch of cds that come with this. It will depend on what exactly you need the images for as to whether this package is good for you.

There are lots of images, yes. But most I would never use. The quality of most of the images is only okay. Most of the clipart is cartoonish. The ones that are not, I never really liked for one reason or another. Poor quality, strange looking or unrealistic looking people.

My use is for desktop publishing. If that is your use, I would avoid it. On the other hand, if you are merely looking for webgraphics for an unprofessional website, this might be good for you. Especially if you are willing to have a more cartoonish look to your site.

Finally, I have had numerous crashes using this software. Almost everytime I have used this software for more than 15 minutes, my computer crashes and I have to reboot. I think it is a major memory hog. So beware if you have low ram.

The clip art is organized very nicely and despite having to switch disks, it works just fine. I was disappointed to see that so much of the Big Box Art contained the free clip art already available on the Microsoft Design Gallery Live: ... There are other fine designs there, but for the price, I was hoping for clip art I can't already get for free.

As the title says, quality of the clipart is great but continuously sorting through 24 CDs is a tremendous pain. There's a DVD version of this collection. If your computer have a DVD drive, get that instead. Your sanity will thank you.

As a graphic designer I wanted a basic clip art package for my office. I don't use clip art that much but on occasion need some or a photograph. This package is easy to use, has high quality graphics files whether eps, tif, jpg or whatever. One thing to keep in mind is to get the files out eps style you have to copy the pic out of the program and paste it into your vector program - I don't think it will export eps unless you do it this way. Overall its a great program I have used several times for High res printing and logo work.

With my tiny business this was a small investment with a great return. Yes, there are several disks, but a small price to pay for all of the graphics!
