Pretty good sampler of, I guess, Australian pop/rock/indie music. My main complaint with the collection is the overall feeling of sameness, perhaps a function of the Queensland government being involved in the project. I don't imagine they are looking for "edgy"! I particularly liked Trees of Brisbane, With This Ship and Unsolved Mysteries, mostly because they sound more different than the rest of the songs, with nice quirky beats and syncopation. Good stuff, though, and recommended at the price.

I particularly like Trees of Brisbane by Charles Jenkins. There are some cool tunes here. I think this sampler may very well accomplish it's goal here - of introducing me to some of their artists.

This is a great sampler, all the songs are different styles and make for a great listen. I have been playing this sampler for weeks and I'm not sick of it yet. I just wish all the artists had cds available, most of them are only on this compilation when I search on Amazon.My favorites: Bricks and Mortar You Said Hello 80s Babies - british rap! With This Ship Persian - Thievery Corporation-esqe Blue Dream Lover - retro sound
