I use bigslider whenever I need to move heavy, unwieldy objects around my home and garage. Boxes of record albums, files, top soil....just stack them on bigslider and it makes my job much, much easier. Great for my elderly parents as well, and stores anywhere.

A friend told me he saw people in New Orleans using BigSlider to remove debris after hurricane Katrina, and another person told me today that in Japan they drop parachuted food and medical supplies in the middle of nowhere...then have to move them to where they need them.

I suddenly put two and two together. Since BigSlider is great for moving heavy stuff, I sent 2 Professional BigSliders to the Japanese Red Cross. Amazingly, amazon.com shipping is only $26 for both of them going to Tokyo! How awesome is that?

I purchased Big Slider because I have a mountain of junk in the basement and wasn't thrilled with the idea of hauling it myself. We had a weight stack for weightlifting, where all of the weights are on the tube and move up/down with pulleys. There had to be 500 pounds on this stack, so two of us lifted the tiniest edge of this weight stack and slid Big Slider under it. Big Slider is really thin so you don't have to lift your heavy object very much to get Big Slider underneath it. We then slid the weight stack across a not very clean concrete floor. I thought the floor debris might wreck Big Slider, since it was dragging across pebbles and such. Big Slider did the job and wasn't damaged at all with this project. I am delighted with this, since I'm not a big person but always seem to have some do-it-yourself chore that involves weighty stuff. I've also used it to help my kids move into/out of their college dorms.

Came on time in a battered box, but the BIGSLIDER arrived intact.

The BIGSLIDER works great. I was having a lot of remodeling done and had to move 4 rooms of "small stuff" out of the house. Small stuff translated into over 50 boxes. BIGSLIDER was a backsaver. After the floors were finished, I used the BIGSLIDER to move furniture back into place and also used it to protect the new hardwood floor while I put felt under the heavy furniture. I don't plan on using it to slide anything over my new hardwood, but I will use it anytime I need to move things over the carpeted areas. I don't plan on using it outside, so I cannot comment on that use.

I would recommend the BIGSLIDER to anyone who needs to move items over carpet.

We bought this to move our flower pots around on the pool deck, as some weigh over 300 lbs. My husband tilts the pots up about 1/4 inch and I slide the slider under them. They move with ease. We have since used it to move large pieces of furniture in the house. My husband has a bad back, so it keeps him from lifting things. It has saved us from calling maintenance men for help many times.

My company bought me the big slider about a year ago. I work in a busy animal hospital, and the big slider is perfect for moving trash out of our clinic. I also use it to move and distribute heavy supplies to different parts of the building. This device can also double as a ground level stretcher for non ambulatory patients. This handy tool simply reduces the amount of friction between your work load and the ground and allows you to slide it to any location easily, and without having to employ a dolly. I can highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to move things quickly and safely.

"Why Didn't I Think of This?" Being a small person, with the Bigslider I can move most items in my house or yard without additional help. Just tip most items such as furniture or potted plants then slide the Bigslider under and move the item to center of the sheet. Then just pull the item to its new location with very little effort.
The only problem with the Bigslider is keeping it away from my husband who initially laughed at me and now claims ownership. He hauls large rocks for landscaping in the yard, auto parts in his shop and he says he uses it for a creeper under his truck but I think he is sleeping on it! I can assure you he has abused the bigslider but it continues to work great for me.
This is one of the few things we have purchased which is definitely useful and has been a great value for a minimum investment.

I work at a home office and must shred reams of confidential documents each month. The BIGSLIDER makes this so easy! I just place a rolled-up BIGSLIDER inside a trash bag, which transforms the bag into a free-standing receptable for all the shreddings. I can empty the shredder into the bag without the struggle of having to use one hand to keep the bag open. When the bag is full, the BIGSLIDER easily and cleanly slides out of the bag and I can then just haul the bag (placing it on the BIGSLIDER if it's too heavy to carry!) to the garbage can. I use the BIGSLIDER in the same manner to collect leaves in the yard. In addition, we have found the BIGSLIDER to be useful in hauling heavy objects around the house or from house to car. BIGSLIDER has made many tasks so much easier!
