The variation in workouts that you find in BIOHIIT help people lose more weight than standard cardio exercises. The use of a heart rate monitor while doing the workouts helps to make sure you are working a the proper intensity. David Norton has been in the fitness industry for quite awhile and has become a trusted name due to his work with The Biggest Loser.

I did BioHiit intensively for 7 weeks, 5 times/week and it worked tremendously! Lost 10 inches on my hips, cut my body fat by a half and over all down by 2 sizes. With this work out you can transform your body in 7 weeks. The sessions are not difficult to do but so much fun, you will actually look forward to it each day. Every interval is 30 seconds....you can do anything for 30 seconds....and before you notice, the hour is done and you just got sexier ;-) You will enjoy the work outs and love how your body feels and is changing. Using the HR monitor is genious, tells you exactly where you are with your intensity.

I have tried many workout DVDs but I have to say that BIOHIIT is one of the worst produced programs I have ever seen. The workouts themselves while quite generic are not the problem. You can get a decent workout from following the routines. The problem is the production itself. BIOHIIT has managed to defy the laws of physics by both sucking and blowing at the same time. The instructor is bad and is more confusing then helpful. The people that are in the DVDs with him look like he got them from a homeless shelter with half of them looking like they got winded just walking in. Bad form seems to be the norm and the instructor does very little to correct it or explain the correct way to perform an excercise. In one very funny moment he tries to correct a women "working out" directly behind him. This poor women looks totally out of shape and is just dying out there. After he shows her the correct way to do an excercise when he turns his back she just stops and glares at him then walks out. Except for the comedic value I can't recommend this program to anyone.

I came across this set and bought it based on the great reviews-was not disappointed! It was very challenging but so much fun at the same time!Had never heard of the instructor but really enjoyed him!!Would highly recommend!!I saw a bad review posted by Kevin Buckley who said that the people in the dvd look like they came from a Homeless Shelter, which I thought was in extremely poor taste-I realize that everyone is entitled to an opinion of the workout itself, but to pass judgement on the group and that some of them had never worked out before.I liked that they looked like real, everyday people and not Fitness Pro's,such as some of the participants on P90x or Insanity.I like to know that if these "real people"can make it through a tough workout, that I can too.

Great DVD set that provides a challenging workout that either a novice to an advanced gym rat can enjoy. Perfect for those individuals who don't have access to an entire gym...all you need is just a few weights or even no weights to accomplish the workouts. Great way to break up the monotony of a standard gym routine.

David is FANTASTIC! It is not just the name of the video - David, himself, is High Intensity. Not only that - he actually knows what he is doing! No, he is not just a pretty face with ripped 6 pack abs - he is the real deal. Just watching how he interacts with his students onscreen, you can tell that he cares and that his students respect and care for him. Heck, even his mom and dad are in some of the videos. His workouts are from the heart - and they will definitely get your heart pumping. Make sure to use a heart rate monitor with the class, because, if you really push hard, you need to make sure that you get enough time to bring down your heart rate in between intervals. If you like a workout video that is not contrived and over-polished but is just about RESULTS - then GET THIS VIDEO NOW!

Full body workout; as you grow stronger you can still get a lot out of each disk; the instructor has a cheesy sense of humor but that makes him more personable. Great workouts.
