Je t'aime...moi non plus,

I bought this on a whim, and I couldn't be more thrilled with how it turned out. Along with LTM's reissue of Blurt's The Factory Recordings, it's definitely my favourite release of 2008 (although I now see it was released overseas 2 years ago). There are a few songs that bring to mind dance-y, early 80s synth pop, but most of the songs sound more like they would fit in quite well with early Factory records stuff or Belgium's Les Disques du Crepuscule. An amazing collection and you shouldn't hesitate to pick it up.

Everything about this album is amazing, and it's completely worth a purchase. I recommend checking out BIS 001 - Paradis, and everything on the minimal wave label if you get into this. And the free jrpg tribute satire game called "space funeral" which is full of equally amazing and unique music. Standout tracks on this comp are Casino Music's "Viol Af Dis" and Deux's "Game and Performance". An excellent intro into minimal wave music, a refreshing compilation of excellent and rare gems.

Yeah... great novelty although 'Game and Performance' by Deux is truly great. It's one of those CDs that is amazing before you get it, it's great at a first listening, adds to your underground hipster status for about a week or so, and then fizzles out. Although every once in a while, on shuffle a song from it comes up and you're like... whoa! this is cool what the heck is this from and it's typically from this CD.

Synth Pop, New Wave has always had a haunting,Futuristic Impact upon Listening At least for me.This Album proves how music of today sucks Radiohead does not match This kind of sound and Talent that is presented here.Let this music transport you back when boys were not afraid to be Flamboyant, and wear make up,let yourself be taken to the flourcent dance floors, this album surely is a piece of great art and i highly recommend.defintely a album for high taste....Also recommend Kraftwerk, and Visage...Enjoy........
