Bottom line, this product is very expensive and my birds just love the seed from the 40# bag.
This wild bird seed lacks the darker orange seed you see most have. usually they have a yellow one, and a darker orange (not sure what the actual seeds are).
Other than that..it's average wild bird seed. Worked ok for gormet mushroom substrate. If you have amazon prime and free shipping..the price is reasonable (though 1.5-2x a local store..IF YOU HAVE ONE!!)

This seed seems to attract larger birds, crows, black birds, and Jays. If you prefer songbirds and Cardinals. Use the Cardinal blend which also is not attractive to squirrels.Published on October 28, 2013 by Greg W.
