I'm mainly adding my 2 cents because I would have liked to know the sizes of the cutters before ordering - at the time of purchase I don't see this info anywhere. According to the box, you get 1 each: 2 3/4", 2 1/2", 2 1/8" & 1 1/2". I was honestly hoping for them to be a little larger, but I won't be sending back these well-made, comfortable additions to my kitchen. Sturdy and well-designed, I already have lots of plans for these guys and I expect they'll stand up to years of use.

Now if only they made these same cutters in a slightly larger size for other baking projects I have in mind...

I make homemade buttermilk biscuits nearly everyday and I purchased these biscuit/cookie cutters to replace a biscuit cutter I've been using for over 40 years. When cutting through biscuit dough, it's very important that you don't twist the biscuit cutter when you are cutting them out and these are quite sharp and fine enough that you don't do that. If you do twist the dough it makes your biscuits tough-in fact, the more you handle biscuit dough, the tougher the biscuits will be. Just cut straight down and DON'T twist! These cut right through the dough. I also used them when I made Butter Cookies and they cut right through that dough, also. I've seen the same 4-piece set priced at $25.00 at seveal other places so this is a bargin. I'm just very pleased with them and wished I had ordered them long ago. They will last a life-time. The are very well made, handle beautifully and are sharp enough to cut through the stiffest of doughs.

Great set of Biscuit Cutters, well made and sized just right. We usually use the two big sizes. You can't go wrong with this set.

Fulfilled all expectations. The product is pretty self explanitory. Durable and if I had to, would buy again or recommend to someone looking for similar item. We use it mainly to make eggs-in-a-basket for breakfast.

This is a lovely set of cutters! They are well made, stay sharp, easy to clean. I like that the handles and cutting disks are tall enough so they don't interfere with thick dough.

These are sturdy pieces, though a bit small for some people. The construction however, is solid and you'd have to abuse these things to get them to fail or even bend. The handles are the strongest I've ever seen and I don't see them ever breaking off. If I had a busy restuarant kitchen, I'd only need one set of these. They are a good investment.

I bought this cutter to chop through homemade soap. The handles are short so the soap needs to be jimmied back through the apparatus in order to get it back out. The handles are VERY sturdy. If you can imagine the force it takes to slice through soap, you can also imagine how well this thing is made. I got to an extraordinarily hard piece of soap and needed a bit of help, so this is my warning to all: Though this gadget is sturdily made, dont and I repeat DONT strike it with a hammer... it will bend :-P... but even with my hammer wielding silly person like me, only a small section on the top dented in after about 3 strikes. So after all of this I say: If it does THIS well with soap, I am SURE it can cut biscuits!

(too bad I dont eat dough... I would have LOVED to try the other sizes out in the kitchen... if I can think of alternative uses I will come back and let you all know).

I'm a Baking and Pastry Arts major at a culinary school, and also work part time in a bakery. I'm pretty much in a constant state of baking something or another, and these help A LOT. I have a lot of cutter sets, but I use this one most often by far. When you have to cut out 100 of something, you're incredibly glad to have the handles! Even if you don't bake as much, you will appreciate the ease of use these cutters have over many others. This is one of my pieces of go-to equipment, and I'm not the only one who thinks so - most baking students at my school have at least one set as well!

These cutters are very handy to baking - biscuits, cookies, doughnuts, mini-tarts &etc. They cut cleanly and I rarely need to flour them. I like the variety of sizes and the high handles. Good tools to have. I have the crinkly and the square ones from the same company as well.
