The pictured item is very deceiving. The product is not a cord. It is no more than a string with a clasp on the end. I returned it, and
the only good thing I can say about the whole ordeal is that the
company did refund the cost of the item, however, I was still out of
$5.oo shipping and handling. My advice, don't waste your time or
money.

After putting this necklace on with a very light charm it broke at the clasp immediately.

it doesn't seem/feel like silk, but it's just what the doctor ordered. at 8 bucks you can't really go wrong.

This product was nice in appearance, but after two weeks the clasp came loose from the silk cord... I tried everything (including super gluing). Nothing worked... So it's now apart of some random landfill in New York state.

I bought this cord in 2007 and here I am, roughly 4 years later and it has survived on my neck, only being removed twice. No breaks, no fray, no problems at all, even while showering. I would readily purchase this item again and again.

This necklace worked perfectly for the pendant that I wanted to use it for. It is very light weight & would work well with lots of pendants. For the price it was a good value.

This is great if you can't wear a metal necklace. It's soft and looks great with any pendent.

Cord received quickly! Does not feel like silk, but is attractive. Bought for my boyfriend and he loved it.

Loved the way it looked and felt, and was so excited to slip a pendant on and wear it. Before I even got it latched, the "eye" end popped right off the cord. Fortunately, I used to do a lot of beaded jewelry and had the right tool on hand to reclamp it, but it's a little disappointing to have an item break immediately. It could be just the one I received. Stuff happens. That said, now that it's fixed, it works with a number of pendants, hangs at a great length for me, and I'm happy! The price is right for silk and sterling, and I'd order another, but only because I know I need to check the security of the ends and have the tool to clamp them if needed.

Item has no form, body or heft. Arrived twisted & knotted. Save some money and buy a 2 foot piece of cord from JoAnns.
