Black Stallion Revolts,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Black Stallion Revolts (Paperback)
When famous jockey, Alec Ramsey, and his famous horse, Black, go down in a plane in Wyoming, all that can be done is to send out search parties. They are never found, because Alec had opened the plane door so it would not become stuck when they crashed, and is torn from the plane by the wind. After the plane crashes, the Black runs off into the wilderness. Alec wakes up to find that he can not remember a thing, even his own name. A long journey brings him to a small out of the way town in Arizona. He gets a job on a ranch there. Eventually, he and the Black meet again, but Alec still can't remember. Only when he is forced to race the Black does he remember who he is. The story is one that you can easily get into, and the book is impossible to put down.

Whatever Farley does, he's good at it,
By Anna (Sumbawa, Indonesia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Black Stallion Revolts (Paperback)
Whoa- that book kept me on the edge of my seat. Only one thing remained in your mind- would Alec remember who he was before it was too late? My English teacher said that its good for writers to keep their readers reading, and, believe me, Walter Farley sure mastered that in this tale of suspense. If you ever happen to stumble upon this book in some old library or something, pick it up. It's one of my utmost favorites in the classical Black Stallion series, and I've read them all.
