This charger is absolutely functional. Charges phone quickly. Delivery earlier than expected. The price is also phenomenal. I am very happy with this purchase.

When a plumbing leak killed my old Blackberry charger, I came straight to Amazon for the replacement. Here it is: an official, branded Blackberry USB charger for your 8310, 8320, 8110 and others. Worked perfectly until the old 'berry retired.

FAst shipment, low cost, really worth the money. Just to have an additional adapter at the office.

I have a couple of these because I sometimes spend hours in conference calls and I don't want to worry about my BlackBerry running out of juice. I also keep one in my laptop bag, just in case. Here are the features I care about:

+ The folding blade makes this item easier to carry.

+ It works with ALL BlackBerries that charge through the mini USB port.

+ As far as I can tell, it works with nearly all devices that charge through the mini USB port.

+ Supports 100V to 250V, 50/60Hz power - you will need an adapter for all non-US standard outlets.

- It did not charge a PS3 controller.

For real life illustrations of versatility: one of my kids is using this to charge his no-name MP3 player and my wife is using it to charge her phone when she can't find her phone's own dedicated charger, which is often.

To conclude: it's a useful, versatile device, worth purchasing even if you don't have a BlackBerry because it will charge just about anything that's using a USB port to charge through. I am unaware of any negatives. Even the prices seems to be right.
