Robyn Henk, author of B.L.E.S.S.E.D, Discovering God's Bigger Dream for You is a wife of 34 years, the mother of six grown children, and grandmother of two. The promise of Luke 1:45, "Blessed is she who has believed in the fulfillment of that which the Lord has spoken to her!" has been her life verse, as she and her husband Greg have raised their children through the many ups and downs of adoption, handicaps, surgeries, and emotional disorders. The experience of God's gracious love and provision in her life has led to her passion of bringing women into deeper intimacy with God, and fuller understanding of God's love and providence for their lives.

As I devoured the pages of this book I found Robyn's stories about her children so riveting I became impatient to find out what happened next, and was tempted to skip over the lessons woven into each chapter in order to get on with the story. But if I'd done that, I'd have missed out on the rich, eye-popping, breathtaking truths embedded in those pages--one jeweled nugget after another.

Her fresh and deeply personal perspective leaves you feeling as if you've been touched by someone who has lived fearlessly and regularly in God's presence. Unafraid to expose prior thoughts about the futility of life, she takes those questions to the feet of her redeemer and then brings her reader full circle--into the same hope, joy, and meaning that propels every day of her life. I highly recommend this book to all people seeking to have a closer relationship with God or just seeking to understand themselves better. An easy to read "story" that will make you laugh, cry and inspire you to greatness from an ordinary suburban Mom who shares herself and her life with authenticity. A must read! A great gift item as well.
