The Perfect Book for the Quick Read
Over the last ten years many non-fiction how-to books have gotten shorter and more concise. "Blink: Flash Fiction Before You Can Bat an Eye" shows how this trend is affecting fiction. Probably skip it
I thought most of these stories were fairly boring and unimaginative. There are some good ones, however, and the book was a quick read.

A great disservice to a vital form.,

Flash Fiction and Prose Poetry, wonderful forms when written from the heart and guts. Here, junk compiled by a painfully dull editor. Skip it. Better off getting a subscription to Opium or one of the other good magazines that highlight this type of writing. Hopefully this will save you some frustration.
