I purchased this little shoe for my toddler. I ordered a 1/2 size larger than her shoe size (they fit perfect but to make it threw the whole year I think a full size larger would have been better) The full suade sole is nice and soft for a good movement of the childs foot. The liner with leather upper gives perfect breathing for a child that might have sweaty feet when they dance or run around in these shoes. The thing that was the final decision for us getting this spicific shoe is that around the top is elastic instead of a string so that if it is a little big or whatever it will fit and hug the top of her foot.
We love this little shoe.

My 2.5-year old started her dance class a couple of months ago. I shopped at a dance supply store for quality, leather ballet shoes and these were recommended to me in the store. My daughter tried them on and we both fell in love with these shoes. They comes in various widths, which is very important for the little chunky feet my daughter has. They easily slip on and you can quickly tie them upfront. The expert at the store recommended a half size larger than her regular shoes and it was a perfect fit. My daughter is very comfortable in these shoes. There are no pressure marks once she takes them off after class. I highly recommend these shoes and will purchase another pair once my daughter outgrows this pair.

I received these yesterday morning, and my little girl loved them so much! She wore them most of the day and even tried to sleep in them! After reading the other reviews, I ordered these a full size larger than her usual Stride Rite size, and they fit well with about a half size of growing room. They appear to be well made with leather uppers and suede sole. Also, they arrived 3 days after I ordered when selecting just the regular shipping method.

Our daughter is 6 and dancing is "her thing" since she was 2. She watched older ballet students wearing these shoes and this is the one of a few shoes her teacher recommends to her students. My daughter was so excited when she finally got her own 18 months ago. She loves it, and she dances only 1-2 days a week so durability of the shoes is great; the only reason we are ordering for her third one is because of her fast-paced-growing feet. Leather gets dirty easily but still holds well.
