Don't waste your money with Seedville. They sent me the wrong seeds and never replied to any of my messages.

I tired growing blueberries from seeds and it failed. I did everything right and still did not get any growth (the sprouted seeds died). Better to plant actual blueberry plants rather than seeds. Please be aware that blueberries are tough to grow. They require exacting soil and moisture conditions which are rarely present in most backyard soils. One can acidify the soil, but it is a yearly task and a lot of work.

Blueberries need a soil PH of 5.5 or less. They will grow fairly well in soil where pine trees have been established, as the pine needles have conditioned the soil over the years to create the right conditions for blueberry plants.

Better to get a porch pot of soil in a container and grow blueberries in the container. The soil acidity can be tightly controlled, the right amount of sunlight can generally be obtained by placing the pot in the sunniest spot available, and the plants will grow year after year with the right care.

I am growing a lot of plants from seeds every year. But none of these seeds came out. The same with several fruit bush seeds from the same seller.

I did not realise when I bought these that blueberries can take 6-8 weeks to germinate. I planted several, waited about a month, and replanted...nothing. After I gave up and trashed them I found out about how long they take. For 6-8 weeks I will buy small potted plants. That being said it was not the reseller's fault and product did arrive as described.

I ordered blueberry seeds and was sent blackberry seeds. I didn't want to go through all the hassle of returning them but I'm still annoyed they sent me the wrong seeds.

These seeds do not grow on planet earth. I grow many fruits and vegetables, most from seeds. This it not even worth using as fertilizer.

I will just go to the local store, buy some blueberries from the produce department and extract the seeds myself and grow them.

This was a waste of many methods to get them to grow.

I am really not sure yet, I have planted the first 72-I hope they work, because I plant on planting more if they work. They are supposed to sprout in a month. I hope so. People around here go crazy for blueberry bushes-I hope I can raise them.
