I bought this for my son, who only weighs 30 pounds. It broke on the third use. The plastic cracked in half about an inch from the hinge, not at the hinge where you might expect. He almost fell in the toilet! I had high hopes for this item, but now am very disappointed.

We are potty training our son who is also a huge fan of Blue's Clues. When we r out and about, we never let him sit on public toilets. The side tabs makes it easy and clean to pick up afterwards and put away in a sanitary bag to be washed later on. The folding potty is great for my son as he gets excited about going to the bathroom, can sit on a toilet if need be and be with his favorite dog - Blue!

I never received this potty seat, they sent me a different potty seat. It was still Blue's Clues but it was a cushioned one that doesn't fold up so it's not so easy to travel with. I didn't have time to try to return it because we started potty training and couldn't wait for a new one. If you do order this one I would try to contact the seller first to check what you are getting, the one that they sent me sells for less than what I paid for this one so I am really disappointed with this purchase.

I was hesitant to get my daughter the Winnie the Pooh version of this potty seat because of all the reviews saying how flimsy it is, and how it shifts around, and how it pinches, but my daughter loves hers. She's 40 lbs and it doesn't bend, or slip around when placed on the toilet as per the directions. I can see how the directions could be beyond some people's comprehension. I mean it's not like there's pictures on the box that show EXACTLY how to use it or anything. :)

I am so thrilled with this purchase- worth every penny. My son got so excited to sit on his Blue's Clues that he is now completely potty trained! I am one happy mommy. It's great for when you go out, which we do alot! Because it folds up so small and fits in my bag and then it also fits the public toilets which tend to be larger. Very Very great Buy!!!
