5.0 out of 5 stars Twin mom must run, September 1, 2011

When pregnant with twins, finding a stroller that would allow me to return to my running routine was essential to my physical and emotional well being as a mom. I was looking for a stroller that was designed for running, I haven't been disappointed. It was worth every penny. My twin girls are now 16 months old and they have been in the stroller from before the recommended earliest age of 4 months, maybe because there is no head support, but my children had no problems. At the very youngest age, I ran with the seats in the recline position to keep their heads most stable. The recline position did not affect my running, although there are notes on the stroller cautioning it can tip backward more easily in the recline position. We never had a problem. At the earliest ages, we only went for short rides/runs as they didn't like not being able to see their mama, slowly both their and my endurance built and I could always see them through the windows in the fabulously over-sized sun shades. This stroller I use for running, walks around the neighborhood, to the park, and occasional trail and beach runs.

Pros

-rolls like a dream, very smooth
-handbrake for hills
-huge sunshades
-relatively light weight for its tough build
-adjustable front wheel for straight tracking
-small storage bin beneath
-durability, no wear visible after a year+ of frequent use
-4 child accessible sippy cup holders.
-with front wheel removed, fits in the trunk of my mid-sized sedan
-reclining seats
-quick release front wheel, on and off with ease.

Cons

-bulky and awkward to load in the trunk for trips around town
-must remove the front wheel to fit in mid-sized sedan trunk
-fixed front wheel, does not swivel.

While these cons limit the strollers everyday use around town, this stroller is designed to run and for that I give it 5 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Jog stroller, May 3, 2011

This double jog stroller is so lightweight and easy to push. It feels easier pushing two kids, than pushing one child with my Jeep jog stroller. It is slightly bulky, however, folds up quite easily. I LOVE this stroller!

4.0 out of 5 stars great stroller, June 6, 2011
This review is from: BOB Ironman Duallie Stroller, Yellow (Baby Product)
I liked this stroller. Would have liked it better if front wheel had swivel option with lock and if it would have come with a few extras like cup holder etc. My 6'2" tall husband loves this stroller and actually offers to take the kids when he runs now! The only other issue is my 3 year old hits her head on canopy when it isn't open all the way, but it has never bothered hert1

5.0 out of 5 stars Great running stroller, April 20, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: BOB Ironman Duallie Stroller, Yellow (Baby Product)
We purchased the BOB Ironman Duallie stroller so my husband could take the kids with him on long distance runs. We have not had the stroller very long so it has not been used for more than 6 miles at a time (injured knee right after purchase). The quality of the stroller is very good. The sun shades have really good coverage for the kids and the seat material feels very durable. I used the stroller walking and had to get use to turning with the front fixed wheel, but the ride seemed really smooth for the kids and it was little effort on my part to push compared to other strollers. My husband took it running and really liked how smooth the ride was and said it was easy to push while running. The basket underneath is nice for jackets, small purse or diaper bag. The pockets on the back hold phone and keys with easy accessibility. I like the locking strap when the stroller is closed. The stroller takes up a lot of room in the trunk, but most nice double strollers take up a lot of trunk space. The wheel lock system makes for easy release when you need to remove them for storage. The brake system seems to work well (make sure you connect the brake system when you put it together).

I reccommend always checking the tire pressure before leaving the house, I didnt do this and had really flat tires when I showed up to walk. Luckily we have a pump in our car which is also a highly reccommended item :-)
