4.0 out of 5 stars does the job, April 28, 2008

This review is from: BOB Sun Shield For Single Sport Utility Stroller Models (Baby Product)
The sun shield works and seems to block out the sun but it does seem to trap in heat. I take my daughter in the early morning and it's fine but when it's hot outside in the afternoon I have to leave the sides open so she can get a breeze. I would not use it in really hot temps because it just traps in too much heat.

4.0 out of 5 stars BOB Sun Shield for Sport Utility Stroller, April 14, 2010

Works great. Wish It was designed so I could drop the Visor more and shield his eyes from the sun more. It still is a little bright for an infant. But other than that no complaints.

4.0 out of 5 stars Necessary for running!, February 3, 2011

This cover keeps out bugs and sun, which is especially important while running with the BOB stroller. I run pretty fast, usually about 4-5 miles at a time with my daughter in the stroller. She did not get any sun burn or bug bites when I used the cover, which is saying quite a bit as she is fair skinned and we live in a wooded area with lots of bugs!

I only have two complaints: 1. It is difficult to put the cover on, the best thing is to put it on once, and leave it for the summer, although it is quite bulky when trying to fold with the stroller.
2. You can hardly see baby in the stroller through the cover. But I guess it wouldn't be a good sun cover otherwise...

Overall, I am glad I purchased!

4.0 out of 5 stars seems a little pricey, July 25, 2010

I used it for the first time today....I thought it would block out more sun than it did. I found myself trying to stroller in the shade even though I had it on. I think its a good secondary sun block (better than nothing). I thought the price of the shade ($60) was a little expensive for what you get. We paid $350 for the stroller itself...geez. It was easy to put on and off (i leave it in the basket below.

That being said, since I live in a sunny area and I like to jog...I would buy again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surpasses Expectations, May 21, 2008

This stroller is amazing! I guess I am just impressed by seeming durability, navigatability (is that even a word?!), and how easily you can go over corners, sticks, uneven sidewalks, etc. and never get caught up or worry about the stroller tipping. I always walk with my 16 mo. old and my 80 lb. pushy black lab (and it is easy to handle him and the BOB ...... esp. compared to my previous strollers). I have not yet used the rain screen which we ordered as an add-on.
