I have the past year's addition BOB single stroller and had a baby shower for a friend and we all chipped in and I ordered this stroller for her. We assembled it (stuck the wheels on in 1 minute using quick release) and I was able to see right away how much better this model is than my BOB single stroller. The fabric is tougher and more resistant to staining. The seat back and foot rest has more padding and it looks like the padding will allow more air to circulate behind the child's back on hot days. The canopy has more coverage, goes lower. The car seat adapter, sold separately, snaps in and out in 2 seconds. The seat reclines deeper than the previous model. The footrest is more durable for toddler kicking and squirming. The jog strap has a buckle so when you fold the stroller, you can lock it closed. The previous model strap has velcro and isn't so secure. This stroller is seriously durable and you will be able to resell it on Craigslist for at least $300 or more! So it is definitely worth the investment. I've owned a lot of stroller brands and the BOB is the best around!

The front wheel does not swivel, so if you want to run and turn, you have to lean the stroller back. The Revolution swivels its front wheel.

This stroller is just the best. I've read a few reviews on the web complaining about the fixed front wheel and quite frankly, those people just didn't do their homework before purchasing. This stroller is not just for cruising the mall or the zoo. It is capable of(and made for)handling much more rugged terrain. It is, afterall, the Sport Utility Stroller. The fixed front wheel is an excellent feature when moving over rocks, tree roots and the such, which this does with ease. The seat itself leans back pretty deep & the suspension rides so smooth that even when my little guy was only a few weeks old with no neck strength we cruised over rugged areas very comfortably. There is plenty of storage underneath & on the back in the netting. The top of the stroller comes so far forward it offers excellent protection from the sun yet still manages to fold back surprisingly flat. The clear panel up top is a decent size when you pull back the covering giving you a great view of the child as well as giving them a great view out the top. The hand brake is well positioned near the center of the handle bar for use with either hand and the foot brake is easily accessible and reliable, even on a steep incline. It is a little bulky even when folded but I can fit it in the hatchback of my little Subaru Impreza so I'm sure it will fit in any vehicle. After a few outdoor excursions my husband referred to our BOB as "the Batmobile" stating "it can handle anything". If you're looking for an outdoorsy stroller, look no further.

I have had this stroller now for about 8 months. I live in rural New Mexico where the majority of our walks take place on sandy, dirt roads. With that being said it was the perfect stroller for us, but I am considering a smaller and lighter stroller for travel.

With the car seat adapter it is challenging to maneuver. This stroller is designed to tip back to steer, since the wheels don't pivot. The car seat puts all the weight forward so it was really hard to tip back and get around. Once we used it without the car seat it was a whole new ball game.

It's a LARGE stroller not really meant for urban life. I would never take it into a store/mall to shop. I tried once, and with the size and maneuverability I will never do it again. I also check it at the airport, because it just seems easier. I don't live in a city, so that's not a huge problem. I would take it somewhere like a zoo, where there is more room to get around. I put the kid in my Ergo carrier for crowded, tight places.

It is heavy. I have to give it a pretty good heave to get it into and out of the back of our truck. (I'm 5'8 about 150 and athletic.) I wish once it was folded the wheels spun so it would be easier to slide in and out of the truck bed. In a small car with luggage we've had to remove the wheel to get it to fit. Again, considering a smaller/lighter stroller for traveling.

Like I mentioned with the sand, gravel, dirt, arroyos etc, this stroller handles it all, and other kinds probably wouldn't have held up. Once we figured out how to avoid flat tires, (goat heads, and thorns) we were good to go. Also, you can get 16" bike tubes from any hardware store. Don't fuss with buying 'BOB tubes'.

It feels very sturdy and safe.

I bought this stroller as a gift for my BFF, so she could continue on her jogging routine with her baby. She absolutely loved it, however, she wasn't able to use it until her baby was about 8 months old. One drawback is that it doesn't take turns very well. You have to lift the front tire in order to turn.

Having previously used a Reebok Jogger and a Graco Stroller, I ponied up the extra cash to get the BOB after reading the stellar reviews on here. Our Reebok jogger was a good road runner, but it ate its tires and eventually the frame cracked in two places, requiring some welding work. Due to it's not great build quality and skinny road tires, it was absolutely unsuitable for off-roading on the hill walks and trails behind our house. Our Graco stroller labels itself as a jogger, but it's tiny wheels and cheap build quality relegate it to strolls round the local mall.

I wanted something that could handle the road and rugged terrain around the back of the area we live so I could take our 20-month old on the same walks I take our dog on. Enter the BOB.

Unpacking the BOB - the build quality is immediately apparent. From the solid metal frame, the quick release wheels, the brake mechanism, hand brake bar - it's high quality stuff that looks and feels very solid & sturdy. Assembly was fairly easy, although make sure you read the instructions or you'll have to take the front wheel off again to fit the front mud guard ;-) The stroller folds up very tightly and is easy to do. The only gripe is the main flap at the back of the canopy is shiny orange material and has light grey instructions and diagrams printed all over it which is virtually impossible to see... We can just about make out the text but the diagrams may as well not be there. I hope there's nothing important on there! BOB just need to use a darker color like black or very dark grey here.

Using the stroller for the first time on a cross country jog - two things immediately occurred. The effort required to push the BOB along was virtually nothing - it's very light and requires virtually no effort to jog along with.
