5.0 out of 5 stars Please remember the front wheel does not swivel
The front wheel does not swivel, so if you want to run and turn, you have to lean the stroller back. The Revolution swivels its front wheel.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than the last model!, April 2, 2011
This review is from: BOB Sport Utility Single Stroller, Blue (Baby Product)
I have the past year's addition BOB single stroller and had a baby shower for a friend and we all chipped in and I ordered this stroller for her. We assembled it (stuck the wheels on in 1 minute using quick release) and I was able to see right away how much better this model is than my BOB single stroller. The fabric is tougher and more resistant to staining. The seat back and foot rest has more padding and it looks like the padding will allow more air to circulate behind the child's back on hot days. The canopy has more coverage, goes lower. The car seat adapter, sold separately, snaps in and out in 2 seconds. The seat reclines deeper than the previous model. The footrest is more durable for toddler kicking and squirming. The jog strap has a buckle so when you fold the stroller, you can lock it closed. The previous model strap has velcro and isn't so secure. This stroller is seriously durable and you will be able to resell it on Craigslist for at least $300 or more! So it is definitely worth the investment. I've owned a lot of stroller brands and the BOB is the best around!

5.0 out of 5 stars Indeed, the SUV of strollers!, May 30, 2011
This review is from: BOB Sport Utility Single Stroller, Blue (Baby Product)
If you are a mountain bike rather than racing bike kinda person, then this stroller is for you!! Here's what I love about it:
sturdy but light
easy to handle and surprisingly easy to turn (even in a store)
generous shade for the child
plenty of storage underneath
it rolls oh so easily
the break makes sense
comfortable to walk, even better for jogging
smooth ride over bumps, sidewalks, etc
attractive color (I have the ink blue)

The only thing I don't really like about it that it is bulky when folded and occupies most of the room in the trunk. If that's not an issue, then you've got yourself a really, really fabulous jogging stroller.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Stroller, September 7, 2011
This review is from: BOB Sport Utility Single Stroller, Blue (Baby Product)
This stroller is just the best. I've read a few reviews on the web complaining about the fixed front wheel and quite frankly, those people just didn't do their homework before purchasing. This stroller is not just for cruising the mall or the zoo. It is capable of(and made for)handling much more rugged terrain. It is, afterall, the Sport Utility Stroller. The fixed front wheel is an excellent feature when moving over rocks, tree roots and the such, which this does with ease. The seat itself leans back pretty deep & the suspension rides so smooth that even when my little guy was only a few weeks old with no neck strength we cruised over rugged areas very comfortably. There is plenty of storage underneath & on the back in the netting. The top of the stroller comes so far forward it offers excellent protection from the sun yet still manages to fold back surprisingly flat. The clear panel up top is a decent size when you pull back the covering giving you a great view of the child as well as giving them a great view out the top. The hand brake is well positioned near the center of the handle bar for use with either hand and the foot brake is easily accessible and reliable, even on a steep incline. It is a little bulky even when folded but I can fit it in the hatchback of my little Subaru Impreza so I'm sure it will fit in any vehicle. After a few outdoor excursions my husband referred to our BOB as "the Batmobile" stating "it can handle anything". If you're looking for an outdoorsy stroller, look no further.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just What I Needed!, May 22, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: BOB Sport Utility Single Stroller, Blue (Baby Product)
My boy just turned three and I wanted to be able to run with him. I needed a running stroller that could hold his height and weight which this stroller does! (and will up until he is seventy pounds!) He is around forty pounds and 40 inches tall. It arrived quickly and I was able to put it all together in no time at all. What is really great about it, is how easy it is to fold and go. I have a little Volkswagon Golf and I can fit this in the backseat, my son in his booster and the border collie is caged in the back hatch! A little snug? Well a little...but I am truly amazed that we all fit and we all get to travel to whichever destination to enjoy the outdoor trails and country roads here in northern Ontario Canada. A great quality product.

My son loves this stroller, falls asleep in it often. It's great for the beach, I'm so glad I decided on this one!! Just waiting for the snack tray to become available...I really think it should be sold with the stroller. Love the orange color!!

I live on a hilly, rutted dirt / gravel road and am able to ENJOYABLY jog with my 90 lb, hyperactive dog on leash in one hand and the BOB SU in the other while my 2 mo old snoozes in her car seat using the graco adapter -enough said!

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this stroller, October 28, 2011

Popular in my old neighborhood, I bought the pricey stroller. Love it. You can break it down and flip it up in a few seconds with minimal effort. Tray below for necessary items and another compartment in the back of the stroller (I use for my water bottle). My son can stay secure and almost completely covered from the sun and I can see him from the see-through flap. I recommend it.

I now live in Dubai and get stared at (haven't see this stroller here) if we use it at the malls. I had a flat tire and was able to get it fixed at a bicycle shop, no problem.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst Customer Service Ever, January 28, 2012

This review is from: BOB Sport Utility Single Stroller, Blue (Baby Product)
BOB was recently purchased by Britax. I discovered this the hard way when my stroller arrived with a broken brake. I thought to myself, "Self, this is something that might happen from time to time. Let's contact the warranty department!"

The warranty department at BOB could be used for a new sitcom. The conversations I had with these people were incredible, and included such gems as: asking for my credit card to charge for replacement parts (for a broken stroller still in the box), sending me a new brake cable when I explained (with emailed photos) that it was the brake that was broken (i.e., the actual metal of the brake is broken in two), and then expressing genuine confusion when I tried to convey the idea that a new cable was not useful without a functional brake to attach it to (their response: "but we sent you a cable with the plastic sheath around it, right?").

This seems like an excellent stroller if you're lucky enough to receive one that works. Good luck if anything ever happens to it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Rough Terrain & Snow, May 1, 2012
This review is from: BOB Sport Utility Single Stroller, Blue (Baby Product)
I received this stroller as a gift. It's really sturdy and quite large. In fact I can't really fit it in my car without putting the back seats down. I leave it at my parents since they are in an area where it's more useful. It's great in all weather including snow. The ride is very cushy for my son. He loves it when we take this stroller out. If you have a large vehicle and walk/jog in areas with rough terrain this stroller is perfect!
