Great add-on, but not designed for early months of baby's life...,

This review is from: BOB Weather Shield for Single Revolution/Stroller Strides Models (Baby Product)
As with the Bob Revolution, this weather shield is a great item. I've gone out with it in a complete downpour and my child has been bone dry. My only issue with it is that it is not designed properly for the early stages when your child needs to be reclined. At 2-3 months old, my child did not have enough neck support for him to be upright in the stroller, so I unclipped the back portion of the carriage so he was more prone. This exposed him to the rain since the back yellow flap of the shield is not designed to go that far. I resolved the issue during this period by rigging the yellow flap down over the back of the reclined part of the carriage. Reaching into the back of the stroller from the front, I used three large spring loaded office paper clips (the black kind with silver handles) to hold the yellow flap to the back of the carriage. With this fix, just ensure that the vents are still working at the back. This fix worked for me but I wish Bob had a way of making the shield work for this position as well.

Just this morning I had another opportunity to use the BOB Weather Shield. As the dog and I traipsed through the rain getting soggy, baby stayed warm and dry under the shield. The first time I put the shield on I thought it was complicated, but now I'm a pro and it doesn't take but a few seconds. It fits snugly around all the edges and has vents to make sure there is airflow to the passenger.

Surviving a Minnesota Winter,
By Mama Ph.D. (Minneapolis, MN USA) - See all my reviews

We ordered this weather shield for our BOB last fall, and we used it all winter long. It allowed us to venture out into the cold Minnesota winter knowing that our infant daughter was shielded from the wind and cold. In fact, after the first few uses I realized that I was overdressing her! This cover does an excellent job of holding in body heat. And it is super easy to use and folds up small for storage. If you own a Revolution and live in a wet or cold place, this is a must.
