Heavy duty monopod,
By It's sturdy, operates smoothly and gives you a sense of confidence (when you lock at a certain position, you don't worry about it changing or collapsing on you). You can tell it's made of quality components, as opposed to the cheap monopods you find at BestBuy and such. The only negative I see is that it's heavy and a bit too bulky for me. I considered their light weight version, but it doesn't seem to support the weight of the 200mm f/2.8 lens that I have. Something in between those 2 extremes would be ideal for enthusiast but non-professional photographers like myself. But it's always nicer to have more than you need... |
