5.0 out of 5 stars Great Coat, Great Price
This is a great jacket for a great price. It may seem a little steep at first glance, but it's well worth every penny. This is my second Bonfire snowboard jacket. The first one lasted 7 years, and at first inspection this Arc Jacket appears it will last at least that long. The hood is huge, the collar of the jacket is nice and tall. 2.0 out of 5 stars Mislabeled size??
I ordered a medium thinking this will give me some room to layer... Wow. This thing is huge. I can hold my arms out with my fingers straightened and the cuff still covers my hands. I don't know if the size was mislabeled but this would be AT LEAST a large in other brands like Columbia or North Face. I know it is meant to be a boarding jacket and I don't know if they...

Integrated into the collar is a zipper that you can use to expand the collar an extra inch or so if you have a scarf or something you need room for, but honestly you won't need a scarf because of the generous hood and tall collar. There is a snow skirt built into the coat that also has snaps so you can button it up out of the way when you're not using it. The cuffs are adjustable. It's extremely water proof and I have never ever been cold in what's turned out to be one of the coldest winters we've seen in the North East. I've worn it outside for extended periods of time in single and negative degree temperatures and I've been comfortable. This is a great great jacket. You won't be sorry. Runs true to size.

This review is from: BONFIRE Men's Arc Jacket Ski & Snowboard Jacket (Apparel)
I ordered a medium thinking this will give me some room to layer... Wow. This thing is huge. I can hold my arms out with my fingers straightened and the cuff still covers my hands. I don't know if the size was mislabeled but this would be AT LEAST a large in other brands like Columbia or North Face. I know it is meant to be a boarding jacket and I don't know if they are made larger as a rule, but not even that accounts for the monster size of this thing.

On to the good: very good outer material, very durable. Lining is nice although you can hardly call it insulated. If the fit were better I'd give it a better rating. Lots of pockets. And durable, did I mention that? Hard to find durability in most recreational jackets these days.

So, decent jacket except that if you are going to get one be prepared for it to be extremely loose, or order at least a size down.
