About the Author

Gloria Taylor Edwards is the author of a semi-autobiography, The Proclamation (published in 1992) and a children's book, Stories From Ancient Africa (published n 1995). Book I: The Psychic Detective -- Death Will Pay the Debt is her first mystery novel.

Ms. Edwards, an employee of the Commonwealth of Virginia for more than fifteen years, currently works as an Information Technologist/ Techician for the Virginia Department of Minority Business Enterprise. She has been on public radio for nine years, and currently hosts a weekly talk show on a popular, ABC-Affiliated radio station in Richmond, Virginia. Ms. Edwards also does public speaking, and has done presentations on the subject of women in prison at various Virginia colleges, universities and churches; she has also spoken before organizations, sororities and fraternities in New York, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, and North Carolina.
