Very nice attachments! I have used these about six times now and would not attempt crown without them. I could have used the fence anchors that came with miter saw but these are so much better. For the money, go for it, you will be happy.

It is difficult to keep Crown molding at the right angle while cutting it. I've tried the "aftermarket guides" available which look good enough to sell, but provide as many problems as they solve; namely trying to keep the guide from moving instead of just the molding. It is very nice to have an intergraded system which solves the problems they are intended to solve, without causing different problems. This does just that.

These are a great addition to a great saw. I have had these for a couple of year's. and would not hesitate to purchase. Much better quality then the dewalt stops. We do tray ceilings for a living and crown molding gets installed in all of them. My boss loves the Bosch 5412l and these stops.

Well I could have but these sure made the job so much eaiser. I just installed over 600 feet of 5 1/2" crown molding in our home and these were very useful to have. Well worth the money.

Great accessory for those who cut crown molding the "old way" as opposed to laying it flat on the table of the saw. I recently purchased a Bosch sliding miter saw to replace a stolen Dewalt saw, and needed stops to hold up the crown as I cut it. I have always cut crown upside down, and these stops do an excellent job of holding the crown at the desired height for a proper cut. They are fairly easy to install and remove, but it would be nice if they would slide away from the back of the saw far enough to cut other moldings without actually removing them from the saw itself. Still, a great accessory for those who cut a lot of crown mold.

My problem was some bad information that I received from a couple of websites. I ordered the BOSCH MS1228 Crown Molding Stop Supports Pair for 4412 4410 5412L 4410L Miter Saws to use with a Bosch GCM12SD 120-Volt 12-Inch DB Glide Miter Saw however it will not work with this saw. There was nothing wrong with the MS1228 but it is not designed to work with the GCM12SD. I hope this helps someone from making the same mistake I made.

This is a must if you do alot of crown molding or just one room, helps taking the guess work out of the job.

The following parts do not fit on the GCM12SD Axial Glide Miter Saw:

BOSCH MS1226 Vertical Quick Clamp for 4412 4410 5412L 4410L Miter Saws
The new taller fence is too high to allow the quick clamp to work.

BOSCH MS1228 Crown Molding Stop Supports Pair for 4412 4410 5412L 4410L Miter Saws
The new design of the material support extensions do not allow mounting of this accessory.

Bosch MS1223 Length Stop Kit for 4412, 5412L
The mounting holes are closer together than the 4412/5412/5312 saws and do not allow mounting unless you drill a new hole in the accessory.

I ordered these accessories and they are all of very high quality. However, they do not fit the GCM12SD due to different mounting specifications. Hopefully Bosch is planning new accessories for the new saw.

I don't do that much crown molding anymore but if I do any a gain I will be purchasing thi sproduct.
