I've bought and assembled two of these chairs in the last couple of weeks. I wanted a couple of good, comfortable, easy to adjust and easy to clean task chairs for everyday use, and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on them.

Frankly I was surprised at the high quality of these Boss brand chairs. They are well-designed, well-built, comfortable and easy to assemble. At the price, a genuine bargain.

If you just need a comfortable place to sit while you work on stuff, rated to hold 250 pounds, these chairs will do the job. You could spend a lot more money and not get anything better.

This chair is comfortable, easy to put together, seems to be made well, and worth the money. Don't hesitate.

If i saw this little one before I would not buy others at Target or Walmart. They are bigger but not better.Shopping on amazon.com is saving time and money and It is my life now=smarter and better.

This is a well-designed, inexpensive chair that fits in the small confines of my office. It's comfortable despite the lack of multiple adjustments that I'm accustomed to. But the chair came with an overwhelming smell of solvent/glue/plasticizers that burns my nose and lungs in my small bedroom/office. I left the chair exposed outside to allow the solvent and glue to outgas, but it's been four days and it's still unusable. It might take a week or two for the solvent levels to disappear, but I risk insect infestation and rust if I leave it outdoors too long. The manufacturer needs to "bake" their chairs under low heat before packaging. I also wonder about the carcinogenic risks of this problem.

Bought this for my six year old. Perfect size for him, and yet still big and sturdy enough for me (6'5" / 245 pounds) to sit in as well. Easy assembly as well.

For the price these seemed to be the best deal I could find on Amazon. They were about what I expected until after about a month and a half one of the chairs started to sink down to the lowest setting every time it was sat on. Then a few weeks later the same thing happened to the other chair. I'm only 150 lbs, that should not be enough to blow out out the seals on the canister that keeps the air pressure. Maybe I got a bad batch because two for two is terrible. In any case I won't be buying these chairs again.

I now own two of these chairs. They are great for the price. No defects in either of them.

I purchased the second one about a year after the first one. I started to assemble it and realized I was missing the four screws it was suppose to come with. I emailed them my request for replacements and my address. They emailed me back in less than 5 minutes and asked that I please check the bottom of the cushion. Lo and behold, they were there. I was impressed with their service and my idiocy.

I wasn't expecting much, considering the price of this chair. I was pleasantly surprised, however. I bought this to use in my metal studio as seating at my jeweler's bench and it works just fine. I can easily raise and lower the seat to accommodate my different work heights. It rolls smoothly and has enough support for my needs. I don't know how long it will hold up but it seems sturdy enough and at this price, I won't mind replacing it periodically (even once a year). It's comfortable enough for the work I do at my bench. All in all, I think it was a good, thrifty purchase.

We got this chair to replace another one (looked just like it) that we had owned for 10 years. It was hard to part with our old chair because it was so comfortable (but was falling apart)...but we don't even miss that old chair anymore! This task chair is comfortable and sturdy, just what we needed to replace our old 'favorite' chair! Great price, too (we got it on sale on Amazon for $40).

This was what I was looking for a sturdy chair for the price. I think it's a good value. However, if you're a bit on the heavy side - I would say you should buy something bigger. This is good for petite/teens/kids. If you're a little wide - I'm sure the chair will hold you up but it might not be as comfortable. I like it.
