It is built well and has a good size.

I needed a power supply for a boss pedal and this adapter worked with most boss units. that made it easy to pick out and use.

The long cord also allows me to move freely about a room without having to worry about running out of cord length.

If you get a Boss product that does not come with this then you need to buy one. I got the BR 600 which takes 6 batteries. Now I don't know about you but I can't afford to be buying 6 batteries every week.

If you use your Dr. Beat as much as I do, then you need to get this. You will save a ton of batteries from landfills and with the long cord, you won't mind being plugged to a wall.

This is a must-have item or you will go through too many batteries in one day.

This adaptor works fine, but I consider it expensive compared to others in the market. Its just a regular adaptor.

It's not bulky like many of the other 9V adapters available. Take for instance the 9V adapter that is needed for the Dunalop crybaby. It does what it says it will do. It is also a great space saver so you can plug it in just about anywhere without blocking out any of the other plugs. If you use Boss stomp boxes, I highly recommend that you buy this. I use this adapter with my RC-2 Loop-station Pedal.

I bought this adapter to replace a One-Spot power adapter to power my Boss TU-2 tuner and (with a multiplug) my pedal board. This does a great job, without the buzz of the One-Spot. Ive been running it for a couple months, and gigging with it in my power setup, and i've had no problems. When/if this burns out, i will buy another, and i've recommended it to my other guitar player who was having similar power issues with the One-Spot as well. A great adapter, coupled with a multiplug, to power a small pedal board and takes up much less room than a power brick.

Sure, the PSA-120 does its job. However, it's huge. If it meets your requirement, great.

For less than the cost of this adaptor, you can get a Visual Sound 1 SPOT Space-Saving 9V DC Adapter, which takes up only one spot on a power strip, and carries twice as much power, so you can power many more pedals from it.

If you move this around at all, don't trust it to power your board. I play about 2 gigs per week and this did not even last me a month. I had an old boss adaptor that crapped out on me, so I got this and was not impressed when it shorted out weeks later. I got a one spot after this and it has been running strong ever since. Go with the one spot and save yourself the trouble. I've always relied on boss for their durable pedals, but their power adaptors are a different story.
