The StanleyÂ-Bostitch mallet feature a soft material to cushion the surface of pre-finished flooring as users position it into place by the mallet. This mallet helps flooring installers achieve better results, higher productivity, and a much needed reduction in waste. This mallet offers a graphite shaft for long-life durability. A contoured rubber grip improves the feel and allows the user to maintain a firm grip. The base of the shaft is intentionally bell-shaped to help prevent the mallet from accidentally slipping out of the userâ€TMs hand. A patented head-to-handle connection ensures the face is permanently affixed for extreme durability. This mallet is intended for use with the pneumatic flooring nailers because less energy is required to sink the cleat/nail flush.
Bostitch manufactures over 2000 types of fasteners. Each fastener is engineered for optimal performance in Bostitch tools and for exceeding the performance expectations of our customers. Our goal is to continually increase efficiency, productivity and quality and to ensure building code compliance through the ICC ESR 2020, ICC ESR 1539 and ICC ER 5426 reports. Our team of engineers leads the industry in innovation and design. Utilizing our advanced laboratory, our team of engineers conducts environmental testing to study the effects of storm forces and other weather conditions, withdrawal testing to evaluate new coatings, penetration testing to evaluate drive characteristics and development testing to optimize withdrawal, shear and pull-through performance. Bostitch stick nails are designed, engineered and manufactured in four different forms and are generally identified by what holds the nails together – plastic, wire, paper or adhesive. Adhesive collation is used on finish nails and brads for trim and fine woodwork. Finish nails and brads range in length from 3/8-Inch to 2-1/2-Inch with diameters ranging from 15 to 23 gauge. The plastic, wire and paper collated nails are used for general framing and crating applications. Stick nails range in length from 1-1/2-Inch to 6-1/4-Inch with diameters ranging from 0.113-Inch to 0.165-Inch.
The head is too hard and does not allow enough grip. Doesn't even come close to a Powernail mallet in performance.Published 19 months ago by aaronanalog
