I bought this lens-to-telescope converter on the basis that Bower is not an unknown name and belongs to Samyang Optics so it is not going to be a bad piece of optics - but unfortunately it is. I have a Maksutov 1000mm lens that I know performs very well and works well with an Kenko Lens2Scope on the back. But the Bower adapter shows up extreme chromatic aberration not far from the centre of the image. It really is a poor piece of optics and it was a wonder that Samyang ever released it. It is reasonably well built, but then that is hardly any compensation if it optically can not do its job. Forget this one. Try the Kenko Lens2Scope instead if you have suitable converter rings.
