I decided to cancel my gym membership and purchase an elliptical machine since this is mainly what i do at the gym anyway. But i really wanted the "gym experience" of watching a DVD or TV while working out. if you've never tried it you should, it makes the cardio hour fly by. (and i wanted to use my elliptical as much as possible so that i didn't feel guilty for spending so much money on it...) anyway i purchased this TV stand and it was better than i'd expected in several ways. It was shipped quickly. "Assembly" was a breeze if you can even call it that since pretty much all you do is unfold and tighten the knobs. But even the knobs were so well labeled (big hanging tags on each knob!), that even a child could have followed the instructions. Once erect, the stand is very stable, perfect height plus adjustable, and the tabletop area is covered in foam which makes it almost impossible for the TV to slip off.

I also purchased a wireless headphone set (Kross) which requires a little black box to be plugged into the back of the TV, while maintaining direct line of sight with my headphone receiver. (for best reception) The stand's table top was large enough so that the TV and the Kross box fit perfectly. This permits me to point the Kross headphone box (on the stand) right at the headphone receiver. (which i had attached to my elliptical several feet away from the TV/stand)

I could have mounted the TV on the wall but I like the flexibility of having my TV available for other purposes. (the kid's spanish tutor uses it for lessons & we put it in the guest room on occasion) Alternately, I could have located a tall utility rack or something but I felt the cost was worth the flexibility of having a dedicated stand plus it is compact, stable, and probably looks more attractive.

Also I have to say I was very impressed with the vendor. Somehow I received 2 products when I'd only wanted 1. I am sure i must have accidentally pushed something twice. But no questions asked, the vendor never tried to blame me for the error, but rather he promptly refunded the additional stand to include my shipping costs.

And now I have the "gym experience" and use my elliptical constantly. My only problem is that i am quickly running out of DVD movies... so now I think I might have to subscribe to Netflicks...!!!

I just got this treadmill t.v. stand last Friday. The product was exactly as advertised! It's awesome, it came totally assembled (how often does that happen) and instructions about adjusting the stand that even I (mechanically challenged) could follow. My 19" LCD t.v. fits perfectly on it. This was so much better than doing a wall mount. Sure you might save a few dollars but then you have a hole in your wall and wires hanging. This way, if you decide to move your treadmill, you can move your t.v. Now my workouts are not so boring because I can watch movies.

We recently created an exercise area in our home. We wanted to be able to watch TV and workout DVDs while we exercised. Since my husband likes to use a rowing machine and the total gym, and I use a treadmill, we needed something that would allow us to see the TV from different angles. Also, my husband is a foot taller than I am so finding an ideal location was a challange. We had tried to wall mount the TV, but that cause me to have neck pain. This product was a great and inexpensive way to solve our problem. Now, each of us can watch from our gym apparatus of choice and the difference in our height (over a foot) isn't a factor. I highly recommend this product if you have a TV to use and just need a way to position it.

Stand is made of thick metal and very sturdy. not flimsy. Very glad to have purchased it. The company is great to work with. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking for a treadmill stand. Thank you:)

Regardless of the application I believe you will be pleased with this product. I bought mine to support a monitor for my Canon XH A1s. Coupled with a tripod dolly it makes a perfect set up and fit the bill in rare "just what I was looking for" fashion. Well made, I would rate it as commercial grade. Simple to assemble, I had mine together in five minutes. The shipping was not lightning fast but it arrived ahead of the estimated time. I could not be happier with this purchase.

Stands are very sturdy and extendable, will hold a pretty large personal tv , supplier very helpful with questions and arranging shipping

This unit is rock solid and of extreme high quality. It arrived fully assembled (minus the stand which is a no-brainer)and far earlier than promised. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It's perfect, and I'm not that easy to please.

I was highly impressed with the construction of this stand. I was waiting for some flimsy cheapo stand by the looks of the photos however when it arrived, it was of high quality and extremely sturdy build. I have no doubt this will last for a very long time. I did encounter a broken knob from shipping (thanks UPS) however upon contacting the manufacturer via email they responded and shipped a replacement right away! They stand behind the product and service to go with it. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

This stand is built to hold your TV for a very long time. It also looks good and the foot-print is very reasonable. It is exactly what I was looking for, and I am seriously happy I found this particular build. The platform is attached by a solid four bolt bracket. The tube that elevates the platform has a robust "back up" pin (tethered) that you insert at the collar of the tube. This stand is not going to fail structurally. Although, there is room for human error. If used as advertised, and with common sense, this stand will be holding TV's long after you're dead. I do not work for these folks. I am just really impressed with the quality of this stand.
