For the reviewer who asked for specifics about the size of the brain shapes on this mold, I can say they're larger than an extra large or jumbo egg. But I can't give you numbers sadly. I would definitely NOT call this bite size.
I used this mold to make small Jello shaped brains and found that in order to successfully make the molds I had to lightly spray the mold with oil. By lightly, I learned they mean "a very light dusting that just hints at being sprayed". But it was perfect otherwise, the mold made brains about the size of your average 9 year old's fist. It was a hit. I haven't used this mold for chocolate because I fear it would be too difficult to work with for anyone if I handed them a solid chocolate brain. But if you were fancy and had the knowledge and skills to make filled chocolate treats, this is perfect for you!

These things are huge. Not one-bite candies, but 10 bite candies. The good part is, I'm going to fill them with cherry cordial and they're going to be great!

I enjoyed using this! My only problem was that it is very thin plastic, and felt more like a one time use item. I would recommend spraying it down with Pam before putting anything in it, but otherwise it was great! I used it to make edible decorations for my cupcakes. The molds were a lot bigger than the cupcakes, so I had to cut them into 1/4's, but I still got a lot of great compliments!

We made brain cupcakes for Halloween. The molds turned out very realistic and easily popped out. My daughter has been obsessed with them ever since! Great product.

I love this mold! I bought the pink white chocolate from Michael's and just spooned it into the molds, smoothed it out, but left the brains hollow. You can then fill them with frosting, or jelly (red, of course), and top cupcakes with these. They look fantastic. Came out easier than most of my other molds - these just fell right out when I flipped it over. Only problem is they are BIG. If used on cupcakes, they cover the entire top. I want to try them as ice cubes, too, but they'll only work for punch bowls - too large for cups. And filled completely with chocolate? I'm a candy freak and I'm not sure I could handle it. But I'd probably try.

I use these for soap making and I absolutely LOVE these molds! They make great sized brain soaps and are somewhat durable considering they're not made for what I'm using them for.
